So awesome food, be sure to try the lamb. It's perfect! And the local wine Celcius. The staff is the most friendly staff I've met.

We have dined at this restaurant 4 times, with local people, with overseas visitors, with children and with adults. Each experience was delightful. We booked on three of the four occasions and my recommendation is to book in advance. This time I had mushroom soup (cooked without cream, great) and suckling pig (beautifully cooked) with roast vegetables (also just right). My partner had octopus risotto (rice properly moist and presented properly) and a grilled beef (succulent). The wine list is short (which we prefer to an unintelligible long list) but after discussion with the staff we chose a wine that was not on the list and which they thought we would like, which we did. We didn't have dessert but were kindly offered a complementary liqueur. We sat outside on a terrace which overlooks the beautiful Balluta Bay. I think this is one of Malta's best restaurants and it is really evident that the management strive for quality and consistency. The cost was very reasonable. We will go back.

This restaurant serves very good home made food of a high standard.
We were recommended to eat here by a local Maltese person and it did not disappoint us.
We did not book a table so we could not sit on the terrace but inside is charming and air conditioned.
Lovely staff and a great location

Quite simply one of the best overall restaurant experiences you will experience.

If you want arty farty fancy Michelin star fare then don't go here

But if you want great service, rustic real food and a great view then this is the place.

The problem is everything on the menu sounds and looks great.....but you have to make a choice

The lamb chops are brilliant.

The chicken pasta was one of the nicest I've ever tasted but sadly my son wouldn't let me gave anymore of his!

Suckling pig beautiful

Make the effort, book in advance and get a table outside and enjoy a truly special place.....

A fabulous location just tucked away off the main strip with a view over the harbour, lovey food at good prices, a very big pasta dish was €8. The service was fantastic, friendly, helpful and went out of their way to give us the best possible experience!
