The hotel was really lovely and everything came up to expectations from the size of the rooms, comfy beds, excellent walk in shower, good professional friendly staff, relaxing pool area. We only went B&B and the breakfast was plentiful but not particularly inspiring as it was the same every day. We had booked a junior suite and prior to arrival I asked that we be allocated a high floor due to my concerns over external noise. On check in we were only allocated a deluxe double as there were no suites available on the fifth floor. So I'd paid for an upgraded room for nothing and it became an either or option which would of left us on the third floor. Unfortunately we were at the back of the hotel which overlooks a rather scruffy street. The noise on a night/ early hours was pretty awful most nights. I only slept well 3-4 nights out of the two weeks....with the doors shut. Aircon was too loud to sleep with it on also.
We booked the hotel expecting to be in St Julian's but it was more Paceville!! If your a light sleeper take ear plugs or go out and party all night !!More
