A very good little restaurant serving very good traditional Maltese cuisine. The bragioli and pumpkin ravioli were excellent. Service was a slight negative, but it was just one young waiter who seemed upset with his boss. We had looked in the door a few minutes prior to opening for dinner to ask when they started dinner service. The boss invited us in early. It seems this young waiter didn't agree with his boss's decision. Service was perfunctory and cold. We had to ask a different waiter to bring us the bill. As time passed, we noticed that every other staff member on duty was proving that our waiter's attitude was very much an anomaly. It definitely won't prevent a return visit.

We just had our small wedding dinner here and it couldn't have been better.

The staff put so much effort in making everything comfortable for us and was extremely nice, the food was more than delicious and the atmosphere also fantastic!
We had Maltese and fish platters as starters. The main dishes were chosen á la carte (fish, sea food, steak, chicken) and everything couldn't be better! Even the wedding cake organised by Maltese Mama was a delight!

Again many thanks for everything!

We decided to try this nice restaurant when we saw its cosy atmosphere passing by and indeed we were not wrong! The service was quick and the staff very attentive and helpful. They have a good choice of Maltese dishes on the menu and we went for some fish, which was great. First, they offered us a Maltese dip with bruschetta to accompany our starter, a seafood platter. Then we had king prawns in a bed of rice. Everything was excellent! And the price was god value for money. I'll definitely recommend it!

We ate at the restaurant on our first evening in Malta and it was a wonderful introduction. The waiting staff were attentive, friendly and informative. Talking us through the dishes and availability. We decided to share a Fish Platter and our waiter filleted the fish for us at our table. The variety and freshness of the food was wonderful and washed down with our first bottle of Antonin Chardonnay from Gozo which is already a firm favourite on my wine shopping list.
It's a very small, cosy restaurant with a real family feel to it. Wonderful Food, Wonderful Wine, Wonderful Staff....a great first night in Malta for us.

We decided to try this lovely little Maltese reaturant in St julians and we were not disappointed. We ordered wine and water and were brought bread and butter and shortly after a platter with olives, biscuits, black bean pate, goats cheese and maltese sausage. So glad we hdn't ordered a starter! We both chose fish of the day and had it filleted, some people chose to share their fish and had two sorts which were fileted at the table by a very efficient waiter. He too was knowledgable about the wines. We were served lovely crspy potatoes cooked in oil and herbs and a salad. U fortunately there was only one piece of Maltese souffle left, which was served with crem and ice crem but I am told the apple pie was good too. Service was slowish but each meal ws cooked freshly and it was possible to see into the kitchen from where we were sitting, a good sign! We arrived fairly early when it was quiet but the restUrant soon filled up and the two waiters were kept busy, but were attentive and pleasant.
The restaurant had lots of quaint things displayed and was very oldy worlde! Not cheap at just over 60 euros for a bottle wine, two mains, two desserts and coffees but with the platter of goodies at the start we were happy, as the food was delicious.
