“Best for trying the local cuisine”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

We tried this restaurant are reading about it on trip advisor and have to agree with the good reviews. Tucked down a side street and not the best looking restaurant but the staff and food were great. Very friendly welcome and the staff were attentive through out. We received half a loaf of bread upon arrival followed by a large plate of free local nibbles - water crackers with various dips, beans and spread which was nice. With all the free food we were very full after sharing a starter and just having a main. We tried the calarami, sea bass and suckling pig which were all nice. The local specialities are rabbit and pork. Give the restaurant a try if you want to try the local cuisine

Not as good as previous years needs to up its game and service! Suckling pig was nice but crackling was burnt or undercooked.

“nice local inn”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Being advised by a friend we ( a family of tree) had a dinner at Gozitan last April. We tried local dishes: rabbit, pig and horse meat. Was really good and tasty.
Desert was “on the house”. If you’d like to try local dish this can be your choice.
