I've been in Boho in May 2013: my first experience alone in an hostel ...
The risult was : I met wonderful guys in a clean hostel where the atmosphere is absolutely friendly.
The hostel is located in a peacefull area 10 min by walk far from the beach and the city center full of clubs ( named Peaceville) , bars and restaurants.
Boho s even well connected to the bus stops : in my opinion the best way to visit the isle.
If you need to relax and enjoying the atmosphere and make new friends ....
the place you have to stay is absolutely Boho!

I came on holiday for a week with my girlfriend and stayed in the private double. The room and en-suite were both a really generous size and were nice and cool despite the heat outside.

There's a really nice and relaxed vibe all round and there's plenty of areas inside and out to relax.

The only minor gripe with the room was that its situated on the ground floor and is a little susceptible to noise from the communal living room and the kitchen. The guest are pretty respectful on the whole though so any issues really were an exception to the rule.

Loved our stay and would recommend highly.

I stayed in Boho for the second time this year, and found the same feeling again ... of being home.
Really great place to stay in Malta, quiet, cosy and always nice people to meet.
Looking forward to my next stay!
Thanks Penny, and Congrats for turning this house into a warm, welcoming home.

Great place, had a lot of fun. The staff is excellent, atmosphere is great and everyone there was so friendly. It was fun, we had a BBQ one night with all sorts of Maltese food and Penny has all sorts of recommendations of things to do and places to go. Not to mention the breakfast is fantastic. Wish I had more time there.

I stayed at Boho for 2 nights(had a short holiday in Malta) and i must say it was one of the best hostel experiences that I had.
The owner(Penny) is extremely friendly and always willing to help.
The rooms are in very good condition and the bathrooms are very clean. The hostel has a very lovely garden where one can chill in the afternoon and have a chat with other guests.
Location wise the place is in the centre of St Julians,7 minutes walk from Balluta bay (although finding your way around might prove to be a bit tricky at night since the streets are a bit like a labyrinth with hills going up and down ,but after doing the road once or twice you will get used to it) also the place is well connected having two bus stations available(5 min walking distance) from which you can take buses to all points in Malta.
Price wise it is very cheap and the atmosphere is ultra friendly.
I have met loads of friendly people with which i partied .
I am planning to return again soon to Malta and stay at Boho.

Sadly I've just come back from my two week stay at Boho. Penny and Lulu are lovely, staying there feels like you're staying amongst friends and family. I have made so may friends there, Boho is small and relaxed so it's the easiest place in the world to meet like minded people. The breakfasts are far too scrumptious for a hostel (but don't change them Penny)! Atmosphere is homely and relaxed, the beds are so, so comfortable, Penny knows everything you need to know about getting around the island, and Boho is in a great location a short walk away from St Julians, Sliema and Paceville. I can't recommend this place enough! Definitely helped to make my trip to Malta one I will never forget.

Thank you.

We had a lovely stay in March. Penny was really helpful and made us fantastic omelettes in the morning! The hostel was really comfortable and it felt like being at home.

When you're in Malta you really must go to Mdina, the quiet city. It's a beautiful medieval walled city in the middle of the Island and is well worth a visit. It's best to go in the evening I think.
