Stayed at the Radisson Blu, St George's Bay in March and it was absolutely fantastic. The Hotel is fantastic, definitely 5 star luxury. Our flight had been delayed on the way out but the reception staff were brilliant, recognising we would be tired they made the check in as simple and painless as possible. The room was lovely, a side sea view which looked out over the pool. There had been some damage externally due to recent storms but it didn't affect the day to day use of the hotel. The Breakfast in the Hotel was the best we have ever had in any Hotel, lots of choice, all really well cooked and plenty for the meat eater and the vegetarian. There is an indoor pool, gym and spa plus outdoor pools and leisure facilities. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the Island and the Sightseeing Bus stopped outside the Hotel. The local buses in Malta are Fantastic, those of you from the UK will recognise them easily as they are Arriva Buses. They run really regularly (but don't always rely on the timetable), they are clean and it is only Euro 1.50 for a days travel on any of the buses which is a bargain. We did the North and South Island Sightseeing Tours which were great, open top buses which you can hop on and off all day if you want to. We use public transport and sightseeing buses, travelled all around the Island, walked through the clubbing areas on a night and we never once felt uncomfortable. There are loads of places to eat and drink and beaches, although quite small and limited in number, were very clean. I really enjoyed Malta and will definitely go back.

Room Tip: The Sea/Pool View rooms definitely have the best view and if you are on the side opposite the Ballro...

A reasonable hotel with all facilties and wonderful location for relaxation. City is a bit of travel and unless you have transport, it may not be the most convenient. Clean and soacious rooms. Quiet. On the seacoast with sound of the waves( if you love it). Swimming pool and other services offered. Staff are generally good but nothing to rave about. They act professional but lack customer service. Some are good. A bit of smile and genuine effort is all that is lacking ( if at all).

We stayed for a week at this very nice hotel on the edge of St Julians. Ive stayed here before for conferences and have always found it OK. A typical Raddisson, it lived up to all the expected standards. The staff were great and we felt genuinely wanted to make our stay enjoyable. The best thing about the hotel apart from the rooms are the breakfast and the happy hour in the bar. The pool is a little small and could do with a little care and attention - I was a bit alarmed to find a loose light fitting in the pool!

We used the buses all week which was ideal. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel and you can get anyway. With all the hairy driving we saw on the island, we were very pleased to be without a car. It was very easy to visit all parts of the island (including Gozo) by bus.

We visited Malta for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and i cannot recommend enough how good this hotel was.

The service was fantastic, rooms very clean but above all the staff, Dorianne in reception and Edward, the restaurant manager were just excellent. These are the people that are a true credit to the hotel and make it what it is.

The location is also brilliant and i would strongly recommend hiring a car in malta as this way you can explore it quickly.

we, as a family really has a brilliant stay here and would certainly return.

Thankyou.
Sahib D

When writing this report, one is mindful of the hotel being five star. Therefore, the experience was in reality a case of staying at a four star hotel. Location OK (a good walk from shops) but the hotel was start8ing to look very tired. Carpets very marked and paintings on the wall having seen better days. The lifts were prone to get jammed but being told to jump when this happened did, at least, provide some exercise. The breakfast was not managed at all (anyone could go in ... no room details taken) and watching the one household toaster serve the restaurant provided great entertainment. It caught fire on all four days we were there and we counted up to 10 different ways of trying to extract burning toast from the machine. The bread knife proved the best although watching staff do this when it was still plugged in was quite remarkable.

On the positive side, staff were generally very attentive and the entertainment on Friday and Saturday was particularly good. Would certainly return on a Saturday night to listen to the entertainer from that evening. Free wi fi was also a positive; a major plus in comparison to other hotels.

Room Tip: Avoid sitting anywhere near the toaster.

this was my second time on Malta, and it confirms the saying that everything deserves a second chance. Not that the first time was bad, but due to the poor organization and communication over company meeting, the whole visit to Malta was not in good memory. Until now, that is. This time, the meeting was organized perfectly - by the Maltese colleagues - the Hotel was very good - great, weather was wonderful for mid-March, although a but windy. Since this review is about hotel, i will focus on it. We were here on business, for 4 days. Service was great, hotel staff very friendly and the food was great. I had a business partner who has a heavy gluten-intolerance, and hotel had no problem to prepare special gluten-free meals for him, even for breakfast and for lunch breaks. Food was always great and in abundance. Regarding the meeting room, the door could use some grease, as they were squeaking every time someone entered or left. Concierge staff was great and helpful. I guess this hotel is very friendly for Family holidays, as there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, there is a great newly built big playground for kids, that was always full of kids - great! The sandy beach is on 10 minutes walk - which is great for not to turn to couch potato during holiday. Centre of St Julien is on 15 min walking distance, and great for walks and shops browsing, with many good restaurants at the waterfront.

Room was clean, spacious and with a beautiful view to the sea. The service was good and staff helpful and welcoming. The location of the hotel is very nice. The external swimming pool area was closed but it is amazing. Breakfast is very generous too. I will probably book the same place for my next business travel.
