Stayed here for a week with my family and baby grandson. Our ages range from one year to 65 and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy both in and outside the hotel. We had several excursion including Valetta and Gozo and my son enjoyed all the water sports booked by Joseph at the hotel. The hotel is superb.Great location with only a thirty minute transfer from the airport. The buffet breakfast is amazing as is the evening buffet with a themed evening three times a week.Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bedrooms with wonderful views.I have stayed all over the world but have never met such friendly ,helpful and attentive staff. We were always greeted with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for them.I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.I understand that the Radisson is going to be refurbished later in the year. Please, please don't change too much as you are my favourite hotel in the whole world and can't wait to return next year

Room Tip: All rooms have great views, although would recommend sea view not side seaview

Stayed here in Easter after tossing up between this hotel and their sister beach hotel. We were unsure of how the weather would be so opted for the town hotel. It has a very nice garden along the sea shore although it was quite chilly at night. We had a pleasant stay with a shortish walk to bars and restaurants from the hotel. However to get to the many lovely sea side restaurants, you will walk up from the little beach past many bars filled with barely clad youngsters and also gentlemen's clubs: a slightly seedy feel there. The little beach in St Julians is nothing to write home about although it's OK for a paddle. Breakfast was good at the hotel but the bar food although looks very presentable wasn't great. The menu needs a little rethinking. We ate out most evenings.

The kids used the indoor pool as the outdoor was a little too chilly in April. We did manage a little dip at the Beach at Golden Sands, Malta's best beach although it was a tad cool!

The staff are very kind and our room on the ground floor had a double balcony which looked out to sea! We took a tourist trip to Gonzo but found the ferry to be very busy! Really enjoyed the new aquarium in Malta and had an excellent volunteer guide there!

Room Tip: Ground floor, family room with double balcony looking out to sea! Note the rooms have those automati...

Excellent service, very clean and quiet. excellent food. bathrooms very clean. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Malta. It is worth since it is just 5minutes away by walk from Malta's entertainment village, St Julians. The staff are very helpful.

Decided to celebrate my b-day in Malta. It was a fast forward decision, knew nothing about the place/hotel... but it turned out to be the best b-day location so far:) the hotel was great, staff- excellent.. strongly recommend. Before boarding, decided to go back to Malta-Radisson.

Room Tip: 252- swimming pool and see view.(+ you can hear the band.. )

Stayed here for 6 nights June 2014 in a Club suite with Jacuzzi.

the hotel location was excellent, public transport runs from outside the hotel and the bus was always empty as this bus stop is the first pickup, if we had stayed further down the road we would have had trouble as the bus gets full fairly quickly and would drive passed others waiting to get on.

the room was very nice and was a good size, it had sun all day until 1500, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and had nice clean sheets so couldn't fault it, ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel to the Corinthia hotel as they can have loud music which may annoy some people, for us this didn't cause much of a problem, we actually quite liked watching the many weddings from the comfort of our Jacuzzi.

a couple of bad points,

1, the carpet in the communal corridor areas were severely stained, in fact we got off on the wrong floor one day and were alerted to this fact due to realising we were looking at a different pattern of stains we were not used to seeing!!

2, Wi-Fi connection from our room was very poor we were too far from the wireless access point.

I would rate this as a good 4* rather than a 5* but would recommend to anyone visiting Malta,

Room Tip: Pick a room on opposite side to corinthia hotel as they can have loud music some nights. Use the lo...

Best thing about this hotel is the excellent staff. Always friendly, pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean, but aspects of hotel now getting pretty tired e.g carpets in corridors badly stained. We opted for full board but food was very much a hit or a real miss. Our stay was one week, could not have taken another week of the food. Nice, quiet location. Easy access to Valletta by public bus for one and half euros all day ticket or 25 euro for taxi. Mdina definitely worth a visit.

This was absolutely a delightful hotel. The hotel is a bit old, but carries it's years in a good way. The staff is very helpful and always with a smile. The hotel and it's surroundings are very clean, with no carbage laying around, as you often find in Greece or Spain. The only minus is the extremely expensive minibar in the room, 3€ for 0.5 litre of water. In stead of a minibar, there should be a fridge for convenience of the guests.
