I stayed here for 5 days, 11th to the 15th December with my two daughters Sarah and Rosie and Rosie's boyfriend Gareth who treated me to the holiday.
We booked with ON THE BEACH who managed to muck up nearly every aspect of our holiday, and who I would never use again, even if they were the last travel provider on earth! (how many travel companies charge you 50p per minute to call their customer services to sort out THEIR mistakes) After they had mucked up our hotel booking, I e-mailed the Manager of The Corinthia San Georg, Stuart Chappell direct, who restored my faith in Customer service.
Mr Chappell replied promptly, sorted out our problem, and upgraded our rooms free of charge.
We all agreed that this is the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything was excellent, from the Staff to the rooms, the food, the grounds, and the public areas, not to mention the Spa. What a fabulous hotel! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, and we will be staying here again but for longer next time.
We even had three days of good weather, and came back with a tan.

We stayed at the Corinthia for a friend's wedding. Ther hotel has two big swimming pools and is close to the Bay so if you want to swim in the sea, you can also just walk down there from the hotel. Restaurants in the hotels are quite nice but there are also some seafood restaurants around the area so you can dine out as well.

The room we stay in however needs some upgrade although overall it's still not bad. There is a small balcony in our room (I think most rooms have it) so you can also relax there.

Spent three days on business and the hotel looked after the delegates very well. Food was very good and breakfast and the lunch buffet was excellent. The hotel is well appointed and only a short walk into town. The taxi ride into Valetta was also worth it. Outside the hotel there are extensive road works and walking away from the hotel is tricky at present but I am sure this will be quickly resolved. Good hotel you cannot do much wrong by choosing it.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good but request a sea view and you will not be disappointed. Othe roption is a po...

Dear Guest

Many thanks for your positive feedback regarding your recent stay at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay.

I very happy to read that you and your other business delegates were well looked after that that you found our food, especially our breakfast and lunch buffets to be excellent.

I am also pleased that you made use of our Courtesy Bus Service to Valletta and that you found it to be convenient.

Our Hotel, as you say, is in a very central location. I apologise for the construction work in the road leading to it at the moment, however, this is only temporary. The Malta Tourism is carrying out an amazing Project called “Pembroke Gardens” which should be completed soon.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Malta and to our Hotel soon.

Stayed here for two nights, in December 2011 in a room on the Executive Floor. I was impressed with the staff and the facilities. Gym was modern. Food was fine. It was close to popular night life near St. Georges Bay. Breakfast buffet was first rate. I will certainly try to stay here again if I ever return to Malta.

Room Tip: Executive Floor rooms are worth the extra cost.

We have just had a most enjoyable week at the Corinthia St George. We found all the staff very welcoming and friendly, right from the General Manager to the Housemaid with a special mention for the restaurant staff at breakfast whose daily welcome made a made for a great start to the day. Speaking of Breakfast, this was certainly a five star experience exceeding all expectations. Our room/bathroom was well furnished and spotlessly cleaned daily.
Our stay was at a very quiet time of the year and so we had a very good deal paying less than many UK B&Bs. Bar and restaurant prices can be expensive but if you want exclusiveness and quality you have to pay for it.
The hotel is well located being in a quiet area with great sea views yet only a short walk to the lively Paceville area where many shops, bars, restaurants and transport links can be found.
We found no fault during our stay and would be happy to return.

OK - it was in november and they had a great offer, 50% off if you stayed 3 days+ so a normal rook for just 66€. We actually took a junior suite and absolute wonderful room with full sea view. This is truly a 5 star place and if you can, try it. Great value for money. All in all top quality and service. Take the big sunday buffet in their main dining room - even if you do not stay there.

We came here for Thanksgiving with two teenagers and connecting rooms. The hotel is nice, large and in a good location. Since we were going in the winter, I wanted a place with an indoor pool for the kids. Our rooms had a sea view which was worth it. It was nice & relaxing just sitting there with a cup of coffee enjoying the scenery. The staff was very nice and accommodating. There is wired internet in the room for a fee. The free wireless internet is located in the lobby. The restaurants that we ate, and enjoyed were Vinotheque, Henry J. Beans, and the buffet Fra Martino. We really liked Vinotheque. We tried to go two days in a row but they were full the second time around. We ended up eating at the buffet at the Marina Hotel at the Corinthia Beach Resort which wasn't bad. Another place we enjoyed was Hugo's Tapas (can be seen on YouTube). This place is within walking distance. Also withing walking distance are other restaurants & shopping. If you're into the nightclub scene, Paceville is just a short walk away. The only small thing about this place is that some areas may need to be cosmetically updated. Overall I'd stay here again.
