Nice and pleasent hotel in good location. We stayed in a junior svit. Excecutive Check in staff was excellent. Executive lounge ok but its offering could be improved with e.g ham and vegetables. We also had the dinner buffe in the main restautrant. It was quite spartanic and lacked fish dishes.
Except for the above we enjoyed our visit and will probably go back again.

What a view! In the evening the hotel is nicely lit and the location is very quiet. So far the good news.

staff is the weakest asset of this hotel. With the exception of the (understaffed) waitresses of the lobby bar, staff was rude, unhelpful, more interested in interacting with each other than with clients and hopelessly disorganised (especially at breakfast). Quite a walk from the hotel to town (and nothing to do/see around the hotel other than its own bars/restaurants). If they promise you a taxi at a certain time, don't count on it, if they promise you a free newspaper, don't hope you'll ever read it. The room is very dark but even then it can't hide that it needs a good clean and proper reparation. So, if you fire 90% of the staff and send in a professional (cleaning) team, this could be a place worth to visit in the future. Until then, I'll stay away from it.

Room Tip: it's worth to pay extra for the sea-view, if not you end up overlooking a busy street and some n...

Thank you for letting me know of the problem you had with the quality of service of our Staff and the cleanliness during your stay with us. This is truly not our usual standard, as you may see from our many favourable Trip Advisor comments about our Staff and Cleanliness. Please accept my sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations.

I have discussed these issues with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Head Concierge and the Executive Housekeeper and they will share your comments with their Teams in order to ensure that we deliver great service at all times.

On a positive note, I am glad that you loved our view and our quiet location.

We value your business very much and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay. I sincerely hope that you will give us the chance in the future to prove that we can do better than your experience suggests.

Booked this hotel as a 50 birthday treat ...On arrival room we booked wasn't avaliable as cleaning was still being carried out ... So we sat in the foyer for 30 mins not a problem as we got chatting to Alex the concierge who was very polite and proud of being Maltese .. Once room was ready Alex was very helpful showed us to room and on the way boasting of the hotels attention to detail on its cleanliness .. O dear stepping from the lovely foyer tiled floor onto the carpet (desperate need for a clean ) we enter the room very spacious ( carpet requires a clean ) after going through formalities with Alex and left to view room .. bathroom desperate need of an update grouting in floor tiles missing in areas .. The sink taps toothpaste splashs on but a Nice hot shower :-) though .. Scale all over toilet flush :-/ .. Back in the room there was a large crack around patio doors that need attention and the the bed although big had various stains on the head board .. Yuck ...Fortunately my wife and I are short so our heads didn't rest against the head board :-)
Now the positives :-):-) Breakfasts were ample with good choice something for everyone .. The gym pool and spa and sauna very nice.. Wifi was good ...TV had plenty of channels to choose from ...All staff we encountered were very friendly and polite at all times .... We stayed in the Radisson blue next door to this hotel a few years back and we wished we stayed there again... It's only two weeks ago to our visit to the corinthia and still awaiting a reply to our email ...

Booked this hotel based on trip advisor reports and would like to add our approval of what is a very good hotel with all that is required for a ''feel good'' break
The room we had was very spacious with the expected bath robes, toiletries, mini bar etc
Breakfast was really good although we found the evening restaurant meal over priced - we also used Henry j Bean's and this was good value
The local restaurants are all within walking distance, buses are within 100 metres and all island tour buses pass the hotel and the courtesy hotel bus is a great service for guests.
All the staff are attentive and friendly and we really felt relaxed upon departure - a great choice thanks to Trip Advisor

We really liked this hotel. It is situated high over a bay facing east over the Mediterranean. There is a beach nearby as well as an entertainment district within a 10 minute walk. The bus stop is just a few feet away and from there you can get to pretty much anywhere on the island. As for amenities, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and fairly large. The bed was comfortable as well. We didn't use any of the on-site restaurants but I heard that they are good; especially Grill 3301. The spa was nice with an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool area is awesome although it wasn't quite warm enough to use in February but can imagine that it's amazing in the summer.

Room Tip: Get at least an ocean view room or better so that you can relax on the balcony or watch the sun rise...

Lovely Hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. Food great. Buses very close and cheap - excellent way to see Island. Hotel courtesy bus also convenient for Valetta. Small spa and pool but adequate for February.

Room Tip: Sea views stunning - worth the extra
