The KuDeTa is one of my hotel restaurant. Le Meridien.
I have been here back in 2012 and as I’m staying at the hotel many nights this late 2013, it is the opportunity to review the place separately.
The place has a wide terrace with a breath taking view on Baluta’s bay.
You can thus sit outside but you can also sit inside.
Inside you have the choice between the “bar” area or the more classic “restaurant” area.
The choice of food is of course not exactly like the one of a gastronomic restaurant but it is surprisingly wide.
The beverage choice is huge. From soft or hot beverages to a wide selection of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits, it’s very complete.
At lunch time, I had some great moments eating a salad or another light snack.
At dinner time, I had even better moments. In example I had a wonderful Risotto yesterday and a very nice exchange with the staff members.
They are very friendly, and even if from time to time you might feel that the service is a little slow, they have that magic touch to take care of you at the exact moment you wonder if they did forget you.
Should you come from the opposite side of the island to have a dinner here? Probably not.
But if you are in St Julian, don’t hesitate to enter Le Meridien and have a nice noon or evening break at KuDeTa.
All the best,
