“Our go to place for pizza on the Island”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Pizza is in abundance in Malta, every restaurant offers it in many different guises, however our first stop after the airport on every visit to Malta has to be Brewmaster. The taste of the bases cooked in the wood fired oven is difficult to recreate. The maltija with Maltese sausage and goats cheese Is a firm favourite followed closely by the obligatory pepperoni. Team the pizza up with one of their authentic pasta dishes and you have a takeaway meal to die for. Do not be put off by the outward appearance of this building, or perhaps a difficulty in finding it. Look for luxol football complex and source the big yellow pizza sign across the road, you won't regret it.

Used this for take away. Very good pizza; thin, well cooked base and not over powered with cheese.
Staff very friendly
Would use again

“A pub with a difference”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

Family run restaurant in the busy main road of St Andrews. The pizza is great cooked in a wood burning oven. Well priced and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

“Brilliant Little Restaurant”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

I was staying in Pembroke with a group of friends and after a long day cycling in massive heat we'd woken from our post-exercise naps a little later than expected. Therefore, wandering around looking for somewhere to eat after 11 was proving tricky but we eventually stumbled across this place. Our expectations were low but what we found inside completely blew them outta the water.

After a great first meal, we actually revisited the restaurant every single night for the rest of our short holiday. The chef and his wife, the host, were such lovely, attentive people and were not afraid to make recommendations as to what we should try. On the first night, we stayed relatively safe and each had a different pizza, most of them featuring lovely fresh seafood bought from the market that day.

However, the highlight of the week was easily rabbit night. To take advantage of this, you'll need to order 24 hours in advance because the chef has to buy them from a market further away, the day before, and then slow cook them for hours and hours to be ready for when you tell them you'll be arriving to eat.

Once you sit down, you're treated to an unexpected spaghetti starter and this is followed by your half-rabbit, served with homemade chips and salad. And when I say half a rabbit, I mean half a rabbit. Literally. Everything is there. The intestines and the other nasty stuff is, of course, gutted, but other than that, you're left with the rest of the organs such as kidneys, liver, heart, if you get the right half! and then there's the head! The brain, the eye, the tongue...

I understand that kinda thing may not be to everyone's taste, but it was definitely an experience not to be missed for my friends and I! Unfortunately, we missed out on ravioli night, another meal that requires pre-ordering due to its nature, previously in the week 'cause we hadn't discovered the restaurant early enough to take advantage of it.

Anyway, to conclude, this place is full of locally-sourced, fresh foods that are truly incredible and pretty much cooked to your exact preferences for extremely reasonable prices. Because of the nature of the food, you can basically pre-order any topping you like for your pizza or pasta dish because the owners visit the local markets almost every day. I would definitely recommend going and I hope to return one day.
