Stayed for a week at Hotel Juliani and had a Junior Suite overlooking Spinola Bay. Such a pleasure to open the curtains in the morning and look out on that view. Could not fault the hotel. Very attractive, spacious and stylish room with most tasteful decor. The same is true of the area downstairs used for breakfasts , teas or just relaxing ; in fact there is a lovely ambience about the whole hotel. Most helpful and friendly staff make your stay a real pleasure. Excellent breakfast , part self service and part table service was something I really looked forward to each day. I endorse what other reviewers have written and as our taxi driver said as he drove us back to the airport , every time he collects passengers from Hotel Juliani at the end of their stay, the comments are always 100% complimentary.

Room Tip: Choose a suite with a bay view.

Chose this hotel after reading reviews - they were spot on! Excellent location, great rooms, nice breakfast, attentive staff...basically, all you need when you're travelling on family holiday. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Juliani for a lovely Easter break! We booked the Ambassador Suite and a Deluxe room for our 10 & 12 year old children. Rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Location can't be beat! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

Room Tip: the suites have excellent view of harbour!

Just spent a wonderful week here, booked after reading previous reviews. Staff are welcoming and friendly, particularly Spencer. Rooms are spotless, food excellent. Some very good restaurants close by - all in all an excellent hotel in a wonderful location.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels at home and abroad and I have to say this hotel is one of my favourites. We stayed there for 6 nights in April , you couldn't ask for a better location, the breakfast was really great and well run, all the food is of a high quality. All the staff are great, very helpful. I would advise paying a little extra to get one of the suites as the rooms are nice and spacoius and the views are perfect. We really enjoyed our trip to Malta and will be going back again next April.

Room Tip: Pay a bit extra for suites, its well worth it.

I can't sing the praises of this beautiful hotel enough. I was fortunate enough to stay there for five nights end of March, beginning April, and enjoyed every moment. The location is terrific, the interior design lovely and tasteful, the rooms have everything you could wish for, everything is spotlessly clean, and best of all, the staff are helpful, friendly and knowlegable. My sincere compliments. I will recommend Hotel Juliani to anyone visiting Malta, and I hope to stay there again.

Room Tip: Remember to ask if you want a view!

My wife and I read the other excellent reviews before we travelled and we were not disappointed, At was right from the moment we arrived, receiving a warm welcome and complimentary drink in the open and tasteful decorated reception area whilst checking in. We had a room over looking Spinola Bay, again this more than met expectations and we enjoyed many a tipple on the balcony just taking in the view.

As per other reviews we found the standards high and enjoyed a good breakfast everyday. There is a lot of attention detail from toiletries in the bathroom to the little side dish of nibbles when purchasing drinks at the bar. More importantly they are set up for special dietary needs - my wife is glutton free.

The one thing missing from the room is tea making facilities but as always, we had our trusty travel kettle. However, when we commented on this at the end of our stay we were told that they do supply a kettle etc on request. Unfortunately this is not publicised for us Brits that love our cuppa. As per the hotel norm, the mini bar is very expensive, I actually wonder if anyone ever uses them especially when a large bottle of soft drink and Malta wine can be bought locally for just a few Euro's. Anyway the above in no way detracted from the overall experience

We also had a meal in the hotel’s own restaurant, ‘Zest’, As it is quite pricy for daily evening meals we regarded this as a treat and it was well worth it. The other bonus is that the hotel is next door to an excellent reasonably priced restaurant called ‘1927’

As with all hotels it is the staff that can make or break it, they were all excellent. I must single out the night man, Alfred, who had a very welcome cup of tea waiting prior to our pick for the airport at an ungodly hour. Another really nice touch was the breakfast boxes to take with us.

In summary, this a very good hotel which I would recommend to anyone travelling to Malta. It is also of note that there are no hidden charges for any of the facilities.

This is a great small hotel with really helpful staff and excellent room facilities. The on site restaurant is fantastic for a special meal... the best around in our experience. The staff were more than happy to suggest other eating venues in the locality that were also excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and served attentively but not intrusively. Nothing was too much trouble and we would certainly go back

Room Tip: Try their restaurant - wow! - and the local wine!
