From my first email to Lara to the end of our stay and beyond this hotel deserves top praise. We had a group of 22 and every guest was totally pleased with our experience from reception, to rooms, to breakfasts, to the tour desk, all was perfect. Friendly and efficient would best describe the service we received. When a guest realized a lost item when we reached our next hotel in Italy Lara saw to mailing it at no cost and tracked it for me until it arrived. The Avenue was a great restaurant and the location of the hotel allowed us to savour other terrific restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to other travellers. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable stay.

Over the last five years we have been visiting family in Malta. We have stayed in a number of five and four star hotels of which not one of them had anything special that would make us want to return to them. It is important to us to have a comfortable clean base from which we are able to visit our family on a daily basis. We have found the hotel where we will return without fail on every visit. We are hoteliers ourselves so are very pernickety when it comes to standards of cleanliness service, environment bedrooms and food.

Reception
Lovely friendly welcome, informative and caring. Bar staff excellent, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hard working lady who cleaned our room. Friendly and courteous and she cleaned well!
Waiter from the Avenue Restaurant helpful and informative again nothing too much trouble. Night staff brilliant they were patient and made sure we were provided with a get up and go breakfast..very fresh and tasty.
This family run hotel has used an interior designer for the amazing contemporary ambience which oozes from every corner of the building, it's clean cut lines and use of tasteful decor makes this an environment to feel so much at ease within. The bijou swimming pool provided a lot of pleasure to the younger members of our family again the area was spotlessly clean. Of course the water was a little cold in November for us grandparents but no doubt it would make an amazingly refreshing dip in the summer. The tasteful decor extended to the bedrooms enhanced with fabulous walk in showers. Spotlessly clean. Separate toilet and bidet.
We were in a back room on the fifth floor and it was very quite. However I think next time we stay we may try a room with a balcony as I do like a lot of light in my bedroom.
Now to breakfast. Just plain delicious, plentiful a good continental, fresh, local and again the breakfast team were polite smiling and friendly. This hotel exudes warmth I highly recommend it, good value, good service, fab decor, if I was given the chance to stay at the Savoy again or the Hotel Valentina in Malta... The Valentina would win every time

Everything in the hotel was perfect. The service, the breakfast, the finishing touch of the new chambers is impressive! The environment of the hotel is in a modest part of St. Julian, but we choosed for the centre. The swimming pool on top of the building is a very special experience. Bus stops are in the neighbourhood.

Room Tip: To have a balcony gives you the oppertunity to sit outside in a "living" street.

Very nice, freshly refurbished boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Located in the heart of St.Julian's, the most entertaining and popular city of Malta and within walking distance from the 2 casinos, the bars/pubs, restaurants and the marina in the area. The interior designer of the hotel did a great job, indeed. Newly modern furniture, excellent decoration in the reception and hotel launch area and cozy modern rooms with extra led lightings and latest technology used. The only minor problem with the rooms is that the walls are made of chipboards so not soundproof. The breakfast is served in a patio overlooking the hotel reception and the buffet is rich combining English and continental style. The hotel has its own restaurant called Avenue (located though just few meters away from the hotel) with very nice dishes in its menu. The hotel also provides free parking spaces for its customers, at the basement. There is also a bar which offers nice cocktails, but I didn't try though looking great! Overall, this hotel is really value for money and I would definitely stay there, again.

Room Tip: Superior Rooms at top floors have better view of the town, though overall the view is not one of the...

Just visited this hotel for cocktails, but they were the best we found in the St. Julian's / Paceville area. The attention to detail was amazing & the service was excellent! We visited here 3 nights out of our 5 night stay!

The hotel's location is perfect and easily accessible from the airport (approx 20 mins by taxi or you can use the X2 bus service which drops you off right in the heart of St Julian's - 2 minute walk from the hotel). We arrived before check-in time and the reception and housekeeping staff were very helpful in allowing us to check-in earlier. It was a very warm welcome made so by the drinks we were offered, what a lovely touch! Lovely modern rooms with international plug sockets - very handy! Bathroom does not have a bath but we knew this before we booked so didn't mind. The rooftop pool is gorgeous however it was slightly cold for us, however this was personal preference and we preferred the warmer waters of the Mediterranean sea. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. We even got a takeaway breakfast because of an early flight - thanks to Lara in Reservations for organising! Breakfast has a good selection of items. Found the hotel decor to be very tasteful. Enjoyed cocktails at the Bar too. Very happy that we chose Valentina over the Intercontinental which was the other option...so much more intimate and enjoyable!
