I know we are spoilt here in the UK for our shops but as this place advertises itself as the place to go in Malta I expected something better than was actually there.
No interesting boutiques just a few clothes shops with nothing unique or interesting.

This small collecton of shops and restaurants (there is a hotel attached too) is nothing special by UK standards. Reminded me of the sort of thing you found in any small UK town 20-30 years ago. Nothing overtly wrong with it but itis just not particularly amazing either.

Full of over priced shops and you'll likely be in and out within fifteen minutes. The restaurants are fairly basic and there are much better just up the street

Bay Street is located at lower end of Paceville - Malta's mecca for night time entertainment and very close to St. George's beach. Also close by there's a massive cinema complex, a bowling alley and lots of pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels. You cannot visit Malta and not visit this area!!

I have often had business guests staying at one of the five star hotels in this area and when we meet up at Bay Street for a coffee or drink they comment on how original the layout is. This complex is partly open and partly roofed. There's a lot of international brand fashion stores and shops, bars, cafes and restaurants so you can stroll around, shop and then stop for a bite to eat or drink. There's also a car park within the complex itself but it's a bit tricky to find if you're visiting for the first time.

A visit to Bay Street is highly recommended for any kind of tourist.

This shopping centre is advertised as an upmarket destination. All wrong. Nestled among the nightclubs and strip clubs at the very far end of Paceville, this centre is too small and downmarket, the muzak too loud, and the glass walkways too weird (an upskirter's dream destination). Avoid at all costs. Save your time and take your money somewhere else.
