We visited Kuya Pub for dinner one evening. The small restaurant had a relaxed, informal atmosphere, and there was a good selection of beers, though we opted for a bottle of white wine. The food was freshly prepared, with Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai inspired dishes. With friendly staff and reasonable prices, a good choice for informal dining with friends.

Trip advisor led us to Kuya and we ate there twice during a long weekend visit. The food is off the hook - full of taste, fresh and fantastic value for money. Compliments were given to the staff and chef.
Go find it...

You can be forgiven for not having spotted Kuya. The name is high above a single door on Ross Street, next to the 8 til late and close to the Sun and Splendour.
The entrance is unremarkable and no menu is on show. You descend into a restaurant bar making the most of its small underground location.
The menu is displayed on a chalkboard by the bar. Starters today include edamame beans, wakame seaweed and tempura broccoli. The mains include bang bang chicken, steamed cod and soy braised duck breast. All mains with rice or noodles.
The drinks include a number of craft beers, spirits and inexpensive wines.
After adapting to the lack of table menus we had a lovely meal; 2 starters, 2 mains & 1 bottle of wine for €47.

Went in this amazing restaurant for dinner with my friends. It was my first experience with them. They really surprised me on the good way! Underground stylish pub, with good music, nice staff and delicious food!
Highly recommend!!! Definitely will go back! Keep going.

Fantastic food! At the table we had prawn curry, bang bang chicken, and steamed cod. All of them were delicious, fresh, and flavourful. Nice bees too
