I felt like I was tucked away in a Central American bungalow during my stay at the Byron! This spot is nice and secluded (it's just outside of the main hub of Byron Bay), and you feel like you're a world away from it all with the sounds of rainforest life right outside your amazing netted patio. I went to the farmer's market with their chef and took an incredibly relaxing morning yoga class during my stay––both highly recommended. My only regret is not staying another night!

Dear Whitneyljames,

Thanks for your TripAdvisor review and pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Not quite Central America but I know what you mean. Most guests appreciate the fact we are just outside town, away from the noise. Having nature in all forms surround you is a great asset for us, so much so that some people find it difficult to sleep for the first day or two due to the sounds of silence. Hopefully I'll have the pleasure of meeting you on a subsequent return . Kind regards John Parche GM

Set in 45 acres of rainforest and yet still within walking distance of the beach. This hotel is beautiful with excellent service. Short drive to Byron Bay but there is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the hotel.

Loved this place, staff super helpful. Rooms beautiful, Breakfast extensive. Facilities and surroundings everything you need for a relaxing time in a beautiful part of Australia. We were there as a group of 41 and the resort could not have done enough for us. Check in, dinner function, transportation and directions - totally recommend. Have booked another group for next year.

In a word, absolute Paradise. Recently refurbished luxury accommodation in a tranquil and serene world class setting. Clearly the end product and culmination of decades of hard work.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was one of those places that you did not want to check out of.
Immaculate rooms and resort facilities. The staff are a dream, amazingly comfortable beds and delicious food to write home about! Zero Downside! We will definitely be back and thanks to Lyn and John for being such hospitable hosts and congratulations on achieving perfection in The Byron at Byron.

Overall the hotel, location, room and facilities were great. We liked that it was a 5 minute walk to the beach, because it means the beach is miles of totally unspoilt beauty. We sat and watched humpbacks on their migration. The pool is fantastic, warm, big and well attended. The spa was also very good, with excellent masseuse. The room was well appointed and had everything you could want. Only negative was the shower head was a bit mouldy, but apart from this the room was clean and well maintained. The only other negative was dinner, which was a comedy of errors and certainly not worth the money paid. On our second night we went into Byron had a much better meal, with much better atmosphere, for half the price. Overall, would happily return. It’s a great hotel, but we’d go into Byron for dinner.
