Showing signs of wear in places - carpets, bathrooms, lift out of order for two weeks - but comfortable enough for business stays. At times queues at reception and the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) but good food and the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Some rooms are very overlooked meaning that you will draw the curtains and be under artificial lights from early evening in summer to avoid that "I might be watched" feeling - blinds or nets would fix that issue.
Some rooms also have the windows fixed shut for security (very understandable) but means that the air will be A/C (which is very effective), couple that with drawn curtains and it can feel claustrophobic.
Travelling a lot on business and pleasure means that I see a lot of hotels: criticisms can seem niggley but they are noticeable.More
