My working away home from home!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 17 Apr 2024via mobile
I have stayed three times in the last couple of months for work and Coppid Beech is fast becoming my home from home!
The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Always friendly at check in and assist with any issues: I had the bizarre experience of being given an adjoining room and due to the door between the rooms being a little thin and the person next door being a little unwell hence me hearing everything, the team very quickly jumped on my request to be moved which I was so grateful for!
Breakfasts are plentiful and quite tasty, sometimes the food in the restaurant can be a little hit and miss of an evening however the fish and chips and steaks are very nice! Always nice to have service with a smile especially when I’m working away from home and missing it terribly. Thank you for looking after me and making my work trips comfortable and enjoyable. I’ll see you again soon!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. First time coming here and defo a lovely stay. Loads of parking outside. Petrol garage across the way for some bits if needed and the town is a short drive away

Upon arrival staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor. Was well lit. Nice comfy big bed. Working tv. Bathroom had bath and shower and nice and big. Loads of wardrobe space.

The bar was nice to go on our first evening amd chill, loads of chairs and comfy sofas. Staff were helpful. Drinks were well presented especially cocktails. Had food there which again was very lovely.

It has a pool but sadly never visited this as was out most the day.
We went to the bar downstairs which cost us £10 each as they had some Ed sheeran experience. Not really my vibe as was busy and very loud with the music they played before the experience and could hardly talk. But drinks were fine and the entertainment was good just think the sound people could work on this a little better as at times sounded awful.

They have a club here but again never went here.

All in all the stay was lovely and I would defo stay again.

Could not fault the Coppid Beech Hotel one bit. We had a family room booked on the legoland deal, the room was huge, clean, modern. The staff were all fab, breakfast was great and the added extra was the pool which was a hit with our 5 year old.
We ate in the bar on the second night and the food and cocktails were lovely.
Honestly we couldn’t recommend enough and we have high standards!

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Reception staff changed our room so we could be closer to my daughter & family. The fish in the foyer were a big hit with my one year old grandson. Room was super clean, shower was amazing. Bed was super comfy. Lounge area was relaxing with comfortable seating. All food was delicious especially raspberry cheesecake and the sausages at breakfast 😋. Staff were polite & patient, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Room tip: Bring your swimming gear. Added bonus being able to use the leisure centre facilities for free.

Prebooked a Virgin Experience DBB one nighter at this attractive Alpine style hotel to find on arrival their records showed only B&B for our booking, however, it was eventually sorted but not a good start.
Also disappointing that the restaurant was closed mid week so we had to resort to the bar lounge for dinner. The package included a 3 course market menu with very limited choices. The meals served up were ok but nothing special to write home about. The buffet breakfast was far better and more enjoyable.
Our classic room was roomy and comfortable but the constant slamming of doors along the corridor at night and early morning was very disturbing.

Room tip: Stick to the ala carte menu where possible for better choices. A pound coin (returnable) is required for the leisure changing room lockers.
