A visit to Punjabi Tadka was long overdue as we had not been for a couple of months.
We tend to share everything between us as it is not our style to stick to our own meal (I get meal envy if we don't share.
This time we had Chicken Sharabi, Chuza Tak-a-Tak, Mushroom Rice and Garlic and Coriander Naan and going off-menu a side dish of Paneer Dopiaza and Mango Lassi. This amount of food is huge between two but we love the variety.
This was a great combination and we can thoroughly recommend it. I urge everyone to be adventurous and moveaway from the Old Favourites: just ask your waiter's advice and you will not be disappointed.
We are now regulars at Punjabi Tadka and always get a warm welcome (which incidentally has happened since the moment we stepped in the restaurant for the first time) even though we are usually using vouchers. There was a new waiter we had not seen before who was a real natural and really complements the team.
We are really pleased to see that Punjabi Tadka is getting busier with every visit and this is a testament to how good their food is and how word must be spreading.
