“Premier is premier”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

Have stayed at this hotel a few times, very clean and comfortable rooms for a budget hotel. Excellent reception staff who made you welcome, The rooms are of the usual Premier Inn standard, very clean and the Bed is to die for. We ate our meals at the Pub/Restaurant just across the car park. Very friendly staff, food excellent and the Breakfast all you can eat was also excellent value for money. All in all I would recommend Premier Inns across the country for a stay

Room Tip: I stayed in Room 15 just along the ground floor corridor

I travelled to Scotland to watch a football game Scotland v Wales. We wanted to stay on the edge of Glasgow and East Kilbride was a great location with rail links in the town centre and a taxi cost us around £20 pound from the town centre into Glasgow. The hotel was as you would expect from this chain. A nice clean room, decent size plasma wall mounted tv. The bed was very comfy and everything was nice and modern. Tea making facilities and hair dryer included. The bathroom was very nice. In fact the sleep factor was very good. I would gladly stay here again to break a journey from Wales to the Highlands. For breakfast there is a restuarant opposite and I subscribed to the premier breakfast which enabled me to start the day off with a good meal.

Arrived around 6pm and was greeted by very warm friendly staff who explained everything regarding the room and restaurant. The room was very clean, tidy and modern with plasma television on the wall. Situated right in the centre of East Kilbride with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Could not fault it one bit will definitely reuse in future.

I use this particular PI on a regular basis. I have found it to be the most modern and friendly of the PI's that I have stayed in. I have stayed here both as a quiet weekend with hubby and also with hubby and kids too. We travel from England (8hr journey) and always receive a warm friendly welcome no matter the time of arrival (3am this time). Staff are always very helpful and friendly - room is always cleaned, no matter what time we leave for the day!
The Crooked Lum is a brill place to eat/relax and social with family/friends. The food is always to an excellent standard and the staff are very friendly/helpful. We spent 4 hours eating dinner and socialising in the bar with family.
Always a pleasure and we will be back again - thanks for a great service :)

As with all Premier Inns this one was of a good quality in appearance and fitting. Our only problem was with the beds though. We had 2 rooms and both of us had problems sleeping each night. In my own case when I eventually got to sleep I woke up 3 time during the night with a pain in my side and needed to get up to stretch. I could feel every spring.
What's worse is when we told the receptionist we were informed that they were new beds so they should be OK.
Not my favourite 2 days away.

Very nice Inn warm and friendly welcome from the staff on duty at reception. Would agree very much with Ian 186534.
The crooked lum was a very nice pub and resuraunt next door, the waiting staff were friendly and helpful both at the evening meal and also at breakfast time.Would recommend this premier inn for families as the rooms are well presented and clean. It is also very handy for the shopping centre and indoor ice rink which is open all year round.
