Stayed here at the beginning of the new year for 3 nights- we needed rest after hectic holiday season. We have paid for all 180GBP for 2 people for accomodation with breakfast and dinner- bargain!
Room was small, but cosy with massive, comfy bed and view on the Cathedral. Room and bathroom spotless clean. One thing I would consider is no bathroom heating- big temperature difference between room and bathroom if you left doors closed.
Food was absolutely delicious; outstanding game casserole. If you are ale lover, exactly 30steps from hotel (we have counted :) you can have lovely pint at The Tappit Hen.

We attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed for two nights. It was first class in every way and we shall make a point of returning there for another stay. In fact, it wasn't just excellent - it was flawless!

Staff very helpful and friendly; food very very good and hot! Ambiance is so friendly and the wedding function ran so smoothly.

The hotel is opposite the Cathedral which is well worth a visit.

What a lovely hotel - the staff are really friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. We arrived at about 3pm on Sunday and just wanted a snack as we had a meal booked for the evening so nothing to heavy. On Sunday they do not serve snacks but they were happy to offer us soup and sandwiches which were appreciated.

We ate in the evening in the hotel restaurant and again the food was lovely 3 courses for £16. We asked about the haggis as my partner wanted to try it but was worried about ordering and not liking it. They brought out a taster dish for him to try and he did order and enjoyed it.

The breakfast was as good as the dinner too.

Rooms as is the whole hotel modern and very clean and fresh.

Would definitely come back!

, Stayed here for D/BB. on an Itison deal , excellent value, attentive , pleasant staff and terrific food,. The room was cosy and comfortable with a king size bed. , looking across to Dunblane Cathedral, an impressive sight. The only down side is , no bath, although the shower was excellent.-------The food in restaurant was well presented, plentiful and very good, a nice place in which to dine , with friendly staff on hand. -------I think the lounge for guests could be more welcoming, something missing there , but on the whole a lovely little hotel in Dunblane.

Room Tip: All rooms look to-wards the beautiful Cathedral, so you cant go wrong.

Whether travelling for business or leisure I 100% recommend the Old Churches House. The location is ideal overlooking the stunning cathedral and there is a free public car park across the road. The hotel looks to have been refurbished recently and it is to a high standard. The staff were very welcoming, knowledgable and happy to help with any small detail - I was going out for dinner and they provided an umbrella for me as it was raining. The bedroom was very tastefully decorated with all the amenities that you would expect and the largest bed I've ever seen! A big thing for me is a good shower and this one didn't disappoint - large cubicle, hot and powerful. I didn't have dinner in the hotel so can't comment on the food, however I did see the specials board at breakfast and it all sounded delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good with a wide range to choose from and cooked freshly. This hotel ticks all the boxes for location, quality, service and value for money.

Stopped off here for one night on our way home to Shetland after Christmas and New Year festivities with the family.
We had been here many times over the years when it was Scottish Churches House...for conferences and retreats.
What a great make-over! Cosy comfy and well appointed bedroom with massive bed, and so very comfortable. En suite needs a wee bit of attention...it's a bit like a care home en suite, I thought! Having said that, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped with big fluffy towels.
Evening menu was very good, with adequate choice of dishes.
Breakfast also excellent and dining room service faultless.
Congratulations on the new hotel....we will definitely make this our stop over in future.
