a good local cafe that regularly gets filled, tables are usually reserved outside on a sunny day, it may be an idea to call ahead. the serving side is good and wait staff friendly. The goats cheese salad had a generous portion of goats cheese which may warrant the price.

I would like to see more variety on the menu, the cook is obviously talented. I would visit again

parking has never been an issue but I have not visited on the weekend.

a good addition to the garden and mini arts and crafts shops

Three of us went for lunch and were so pleased to find this little gem of a café, surrounded by craft shops, fruit and vegetables and a lovely selection of plants all for sale. We were greeted by the café owner who showed us to a table - we opted for one under cover as it was quite hot, but the outside tables had umbrellas for shade. The waitresses were friendly, efficient and clearly enjoyed their work. The fresh food was delightful and there was a good choice. The menu can be checked out on their website www.themedicinegarden.com

The location is in a really nice setting on a sunny day. There were lots of children, but that is because it seems an informal, welcoming place. I was looking for a light lunch, and I had a very nice one, though I wouldn't choose to eat here if I was hungry.

Visited The Medicine Garden today for the first time. Enjoyed a healthy lunch in the Hothouse Café where the staff were welcoming and friendly, then a meander round the little shops and back to sit in the sunny courtyard outside the cafe enjoying a cuppa and cake. Looking forward to going again soon.
