Medicine Garden Cobham was a wonderful surprise. It's like a secret garden hidden inside high, old brick walls and looked stunning in the brilliant June sunshine which showed the broad lawns and flower beds at their best. For those who must gave retail therapy, as well as plants for sale, there are a number of cute art and craft and antique galleries to pop into before and after having a light meal or coffee and cake ( a bit pricey) in the glass conservatory or outside under umbrellas. It's a great place to natter away with girlfriends for hours which is what we did, as well as picking up small gifts and pastries, cheese and bread from the deli. If you plan ahead, I'm told that yoga courses and massages are also possible but I think I'll just relax in a deck chair on the lawn with an ice cream.
