Discover the mystical follies, historic plantings, the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American trees and shrubs (Plant Heritage, NCCPG), and some of Surrey's amazing wildlife. You can spend a whole day at Painshill or there are shorter accessible routes around the Serpentine Lake. Dogs on short leads are welcome. Bring a picnic or visit Hamilton's Tea Room. A fantastic example of English country gardens, brilliant location of films and weddings - lookout for the free days and take a picnic. Stunning crystle caves, 18th century architechture and landscapes, romantic for couples and adventure for families.

I love walking around Painshill Park. It has delights around every corner, from wonderful vistas, to grottos and follies, through to vineyards and hermits homes! You can stick to the path that takes you through the delights of the park or you can wander off the beaten track and discover some hidden delights. There is a Victorian walled garden to peruse and a plethora of plants and trees in the park itself.
Painshill is a delightful place to spend a few hours where the kids can run off all that built up energy and the adults have something to keep them entertained as they make their way around the park.
Please note that dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.

Thank Rid
