Stayed here for my birthday this year on a dinner and breakfast package with my wife. I could write a long review full of superlatives, but I think it would be clearer just to say: if you are in Bromsgrove, stay at Grafton Manor. You will feel like the Lord of Grafton while you are there. The rooms, building, grounds, restaurant and staff are top shelf. A real gem of the Midlands.

Room Tip: Stay in the Garden Suite.

My husband and I got married here last April. Couldn't ask for better! A beautiful hotel, we had a civil ceremony and a blessing in the incredible chapel. The marquee and grounds were really impressive. Staff, rooms, food were great. Onsite wedding shops a bonus! Would certainly stay here again for another occasion

We stayed only 1 night (Thursday) and were given a very nice, huge, comfortable room. It wasn't overly warm at first but there was a plug-in radiator which warmed it sufficiently. The bathroom was also large. The large bed was very comfortable.

We had drinks in the lounge in front of a log fire and then a leisurely dinner in the restaurant which was pleasantly warm. There were only 2 other couples there. The food and the service were excellent, all the staff being very affable and attentive. They have considerable expertise in Indian cuisine and the delicious chicken curry seemed very authentic. The 3-course dinner normally costs £24.95 so the room, dinner and breakfast deal at £99 (for 2) is excellent value.

So all in all, most enjoyable and highly recommended! We will be returning soon.

we stayed here for two nights in August 2012 whilst visiting relatives in the west midlands. It is a converted 18th century house with great character. The rooms are very large, there is a lovely "great parlour" for lounging in and the staff are very good. We paid £100 per night for bed, breakfast and dinner which is fantastic value. The majority of the surprisingly large house is turned over to weddings, and its a fine venue within which to get hitched. Whislt wandering around the grounds we met the owner, who was very friendly and with whom we had an interesting chat. It is a family run place, and the level of service reflects that.

Excellent value, fantastic staff and good food. If you are coming to this part of the world I can heartily recommend it.

My daughter got married at Grafton Manor on the 28th April, what a fantastic venue, the ambiance was amazing, the marriage was a civil one but had all of the feel of a church weddingThe marquee where the reception was held was superb the food was beautifully cooked and presented and the evening food for evening guests was a Hog roast with real crackling and the tastiest stuffing know to man, James was front of house and did a brilliant job and also there for breakfast, Natalie was the Master of Ceremonies and considering it was her first time did a sterling job, last but not least Shabila who i think was like the head waitress was loveley. We retired to the library after and had a nightcap. The rooms were in character with the building and had its residential ghost, a small child running up and down the corridor about 5.30am, most of us heard it. Thanks to everone who made my daughters wedding supremely successful

Room Tip: There are only 9 rooms all having a character of there own, the rooms at the back overlook the lake, but then the front overlooks the gardens
