We try to use Premier Inns where we can as they are generally of a reliable standard. Rooms are always very clean, if a little basic. But they give you everything you need for a quick stay. One review said it was tired and in need of refurbishment, but our room was fine. This particular one isn't in the best location but, for us, it was very convenient. However, for the first time we had to test Premier Inn's Good Night's Sleep guarantee. This was due to the couple in the room above us having a row at full blast for an hour and a half until after midnight. At 6.00am they started practising their morris dancing - at least I assume that's what it was - and the ceiling shook. The receptionist couldn't have been more apologetic when I told her and I got my refund straightaway. What's a shame is that isn't the fault of the hotel, just inconsiderate guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The second night we stayed there you could have heard a pin drop.
