A pub with character, with a good garden at the rear. Once you have squeezed past the people crowding the bar near the entrance, the pub opens out into a pleasant seating area and the garden. Rooms at the front are very good. Good selection of beers, bar service is efficient, somewhat over busy at times, depending on number of staff working. Food is fine, chilli and rice was good, served hot without delay. A good local pub with a new owner, which makes all the difference.
