Schloss Mailberg is definitely worth a visit. The rooms are designed in a perfect mix of historical furniture and modern bathing facilities. Great service, good breakfast, excellent restaurant!
Mailberg itself is a very remote village. We went there in October and had the mots beautiful autumn weather.
Two ideas for improvement: The historic suites are not really sound-proof.
A sauna or spa would be nice ;-)
