From an American's point of view, this place will not be much different from what you're used to in the states. All in all, the rolls were made extremely well and portion size was definitely enough to satisfy. My wife and I ordered two rolls each, but three between the two of us would have been sufficient and filling!
Price - You're going to pay a little more than you're used to at the local sushi shop, but its part novelty, part quality ingredients...plus this place doesn't look like its hurting for business...so the demand is high.
Restaurant Experience - This is NOT a sit-down restaurant, its Sushi-To-Go! And thats a great concept...the wife and I enjoyed our meal in our hotel room, and what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in quality.
Do not be fooled by the fact that two blondes are making the sushi, appearances are deceiving , and these gals have got it down!
Lastly - order over the phone, if you can. We ordered on a "slow" sunday (early evening) and (4) rolls took about an hour to make. They get backlogged! If you can't phone your order in, then get to the outdoor mall area a little earlier, order your sushi and do some shopping. There are PLENTY of shops to browse while you're waiting.
All in all, this was a great experience. I live in Southern Germany and "conveyor belt" sushi is the norm (read: poor quality) I am glad to have found this gem in the most obscure of locations.
Whatever brings you to Kolding, you should definately check it out, if you're a Sushi Aficionado.
