“Thoroughly recommended”
Reviewed 27 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Fantastic week in a unique setting, accomodation is excellent with really nice touches such as welcome sweets, biscuits and lovely French cider. Facilities great, swimming, tennis, games room and nice walks. Lots to see in Normandy and all within easy reach of the gite.
All in all a totally relaxing holiday in an idyllic setting, we all loved it!

“Horse heaven”
Reviewed 9 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The Haras du Gazon is situated off the beaten track, surrounded by beautiful Normandy pastures and stone villages. However it is not isolated , as a bustling town, Falaise , with it's castle is an easy 10 minute drive away. Bayeux, Caen, Rouen and the Normandy beaches are all close by and we easily managed a trip to Monet's garden at Giverny.
The chateau itself is elegant and our gite, Baloubet was beautifully converted, well-equipped and comfy - a true home from home. The owners, Tim and Annie, bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. We can thoroughly recommend the Haras to anyone - couples, families, groups of friends - and if you love thoroughbred horses, you'll be in seventh heaven !!

“Great place for a relaxing break”
Reviewed 14 December 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We had a lovely stay at Haras du Gazon. Anne was so helpful from start to finish even delivering fresh bread and croissants on our first morning. We spent several days not even leaving the estate, just walking around all the fields and watching the horses and foals galloping around. We stayed in Baloubet which was fantastic, it had all we needed and lovely views across the lake and fields.

“Heaven for horse lovers and for a lovely family holiday”
Reviewed 3 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We were immediately taken by Haras du Gazon. Driving through the double wrought iron gates we were greeted by a fine stallion looking over his stable door and the sight of the elegant main house. The gite is above the stables and once inside you can't help noticing how spacious it is. On the dining table were goodies aplenty: local cider, delicious peaches and snacks for the children. Everything is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need (yes, I did actually use the meat thermometer!). The boys loved their large room upstairs and enjoyed peering down on us from the mezzanine. They were delighted to discover the games room and made full use of the table tennis and pool table. Their favourite thing was the swimming pool.
Haras du Gazon is well situated for exploring Normandy. We visited the DDay beaches and Bayeux tapestry and also enjoyed bike rides round the local countryside.
The owners Tim and Anne couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We definitely plan to return.
