Just went to Il Gritti tonight with a group from the US. The staff was great and did their best to explain the dishes (all written in french/italian). Some had the shrimp and pasta dish and said it was great (real shrimp with heads and all). The pasta with gorgonzola and jambon (ham), it was great. There was a lot more in the bowl than I thought, could not eat it all. Other guests had the lasgana and the pizza and said those were really good.
Profiteroles were great, creme puffs with ice cream and rich-cocoa chocolate.
The restaraunt is decorated in a modern, cool fashion. Red with stone and wood. Very handsome.
