“Lovely Hotel In A Great Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

We stayed at the Castel Victoria for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We booked directly with hotel and as we are a family of four, were offered a suite. It was perfect for us - spacious and with a large bathroom with a large shower. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned very well each day. All the staff were friendly and helpful & the hotel is very stylish. There is a sunny terrace on the first floor with comfortable outdoor furniture where we were able to have our drink from the bar. We easily parked close by to the hotel, even in August! The hotel is one road away from the beach and is a 3 minute walk to the centre of Le Touquet - fantastic position - just what we wanted!!! Lots of restaurants, shops and bars. We would highly recommend the Castel Victoria and will definitely be staying again!

This hotel was opened in 2011 in one of the old resort houses in Le Touquet and the owners claim it is France's first lounge Hotel - true there is a friendly bar, a large lounge, a room equipped for pool - lot's of 70's album covers on the wall but really it offers a very good experience for a short stay. As others have observed there are very good sized beds in very clean, but certainly in our case, quite a small room - the result being very little storage space - two jackets and one dress was about the limit in our wardrobe. We were only there for one night so that didn't matter but if you had come for a week Room 2 would be too small. There is 'zen garden' - ie pebbles and seatingat the back and a sun terrace at the front on the first floor which we didn't try this time. I think, having stayed in several hotels in Le Touquet over the years this is one we shall definitely return to.

Room Tip: Room two was right behind the bar and so in the early morning sounds of breakfast activity could be...

We stayed here overnight as part of a tour of the Opal Coast, the staff were lovely, the public areas are decorated well in a modern, stylised way and the location is excellent. Our room, whilst very clean and tidy, was very small and compact. The loo and shower are a little unit in what may have been the wardrobe, but they worked well. Cases were a problem though and we did have to take it in turns to move round. But despite that it was a great place for an overnight stay and had a lovely big terrace to the front of the hotel where, in hindsight, I could have kept my suitcase :-)

Myself and my partner visited Le Touquet for 1 night midweek. We decided to stay at Castel Victoria following previous reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. We were welcomed by very friendly helpful staff, the hotel was spotless. Our room was exactly as we booked, 'cosy' but very nicely decorated and clean, just perfect. Its location again was spot on, a few minutes walk from the town centre and a stones throw from the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and cant wait to go back.

Stayed two nights for first trip to Le Touquet.
The rooms are small. Nice to have a terrace. However the beds are a good size and very comfortable which I think is often a bonus in Europe.
Staff very friendly and eager to please. Very central but not on a noisy street. Two minute walk from restaurants and beach. No hair dryer in the room but they supplied one when I asked.

Room Tip: Have a balcony. It will give you a bit more space.

Just back from a short break in Le Touquet with my 14 year old son. We stayed here for two nights over the end of May holiday w/e. We also booked a "cosy room with terrace" and, having read previous reviews, knew what to expect. Yes, it's a small room but it has everything you need. It's very clean. The terrace is lovely and gets lots of sun (room 007). The Hotel is in a fantastic location right beside the beachfront and very close to the pedestrian part of the town. The staff are great..extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was fine..fresh breads and pastries and a selection of the usual breakfast fare.
Charming little hotel in a beautiful town!!

We had a one-night stay here with friends; my husband and I booked a "cosy" room with terrace and our friends went for a "charme" room. We knew what to expect through reading other TripAdvisor members' reviews of the place, and so splashed out on a "cosy, with terrace" due to this advice! I think it was worth it, as the "cosy" room IS very tiny. You get a large comfortable bed, with hardly any space around it. Somewhat like a caravan. It's decorated in a modern style and us immaculately clean. The terrace overlooks a residential road, and is a reasonable size, accommodating a small table and chairs. The room itself has a teeny w.c. and separate shower; the shower is fabulous - large, modern rain type shower head, with a separate hand held attachment. Tiny washbasin in the room itself, next to the bed, with a semi-circular curtain that you can pull around the whole bathroom units if you wish. But a very cosy and intimate feel all round, ha! ha! The hotel itself is about 3/4 minutes walk from the town centre, in a quiet residential road, about 3 blocks up from the sea shore. It's about a twenty minute max push bike ride from Le Touquet airport. There is a nice bar, and restaurant area for breakfast. Our friends took breakfast, which they enjoyed, but we didn't - however, my husband was hanging about, and they gave him a free coffee. The staff were absolutely lovely, giving a warm and responsive welcome on arrival. They speak fluent English. They are a particular asset to this hotel.

Room Tip: If you can, I would recommend taking the "cosy" rooms WITH terrace. The "charme"...
