When we had previously stayed at Le Touquet, we stayed at the Novotel, which is on the beach but whose sea facing rooms are quite expensive. It is a way from the centre, so we thought that a more central and cheaper location would be a good idea. The Hotel Bristol is right in the middle of town, very near the market and the shops and restaurants. The room we were allocated was only recently decorated. No view though and nowhere to sit down in natural light apart from the beds, which were comfortable. The staff are very friendly and tolerant of imperfect French language. There is WiFi but not in the rooms. A three night stay was perfect; I think one might get a bit claustrophobic with more. We enjoyed eating at the fabulous fishermen's cooperative at Etaples.

We have stayed in Le Touquet many times at the very central and ever popular Red Fox but moved up a star this time and it is worth it. I was on a golfing trip with 22 men and the Bristol has that very essential bar and also a courtyard where you can sit outside and talk about your exploits. It is just off the high street so is very convenient for the restaurants and bars.Decent sized rooms, very clean and comfortable with a fair selection for breakfast in the morning. All you need for a long weekend for couples or golfers.

Excellently placed for beach, town, restaurants and market.
(You'll need to ensure you are not parked anywhere near the end of the road or in the market from the night before the market day)
Room was large and clean over looking the sunny "court yard".
Nice bar. NIce breakfast area.
Helpful staff who corrected my vocabularly when asking for a sec / cheveux to seche cheveux at reception (not kept in rooms)
Slightly more expensive than thought when booking through booking.com

Room Tip: third floor, (312?) large room with very comfortable kingsize bed

On a golf trip with two friends, room ('superior') recently refurbished was pleasant but poor showering facilties by hand held shower over unscreened bath not ideal. Staff very friendly and breakfast plentiful if lacking in variety. Location only 100m from beach and easy walk to most of the great restaurants. Le Touquet golf complex only 5 mins drive away. Large outdoor terrace in front of hotel. Warm comfortable bar.

Had a long weekend break at the start of May staying for two nights. Upon arrival the hotel looks a little tired, but well kept inside. The staff at reception are very pleasant and could not do enough for you. Our room was recently refurbished it would seem and very nice size with plenty of room for two people. They say that the most important thing is location, location, location and this hotel is so well situated for access to everything in Le Touquet. The open market is about 200 yards away, the town centre is a very easy short walk and the beach can be seen from the front of the hotel. The bar is unique in decor, but well stocked and service good. Breakfast is very good with pretty much anything you need available and if not out just ask. Overall a good hotel, with helpful staff, clean rooms and so well positioned. Would stay again.

Booked a 5 day holiday golfing, with friends and choose this hotel. Great location in the centre of Le Touquet. Easy to walk to restaurants and the town centre.
The hotel itself, looks a little tired from the outside but inside is not too bad. The parking is a good feature as not a lot of places to park in and around Le Touquet. The reception was smooth and easy.
The rooms looked and felt like they have had a makeover which was nice and refreshing. The room was just big enough for two people, good job we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, as not massive. The tv is well positioned and user friendly with English channels so good to catch up on the news while changing. The bathroom was well equipped just a shame the towel heater didn't work as instead of getting new towels, easier to dry the existing one but only a small factor. One small point would be tea/coffee station in the room would be nice but i guess that is just us Brits that like our hot drinks...
The hotel bar was well situated and easy meeting point for everyone. Little bit of a struggle to get a drink (at times) as the receptionist was also the bar person so at times a little wait but not a problem as your on holiday to relax. Well stocked bar as well so good on that front.
The hotel buffet breakfast was very well catered for. A lot of variety which is nice and having fresh fruit available is great and French bread, we can’t seem to make it like them so great to have some readily available for breakfast as well as eggs cooked to your liking by yourself so no complaints there.
Overall a good hotel and would recommend for anyone planning a golf break.
Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed here for 4 nights for a golfing break, 2 superior twin rooms 309 / 315 both more than adequate for our needs clean and large enough for 2 big guys not to get in each others way, the continental breakfast was excellent, all part of our package so don't know what the cost was, cooked option available for 4 euros extra.
The bar was very comfortable for a pre dinner meeting point or cognac & coffee before retiring after some enjoyable meals in town.
As for the golf, all booked through Golfbreaks.com both the Le Touqet courses and Les Pins at Hardelot were in good condition and we were made very welcome, unfortunately Belle Dune was in a terrible state which along with the staff`s apathy was very disappointing .
Overall The Bristol is an excellent base for short stay although it does appear that there is quite a variation in room sizes which might be worth checking out before making a booking.
