Stayed here for one night following a tour of France . Room was tastefully furnished and large bathroom . As usual no tea or coffee facilities in the room but staff happy to make one. Great location for beach and restaurants . We booked a car space which was just as well as many of the roads closed in advance of the Tour de France .
We didn't have the buffet breakfast instead had breakfast in local restaurant which was €6·90 for bacon eggs bread told juice and coffee . Much better value

Room Tip: Hotel was quiet generally

Dear ZXZXXXXXXX,
Thank you for your comment.
The Tour de France was here on July 7th and 8th ; booking a car park was a good idea as it was even difficult for our staff to come to work.
Looking forward to welcoming you again.
Kind regards.
Emmanuel

Ideal as a base for our golf trip in a very good location. On old hotel but recently refurbished to a high standard with upbeat decor and is very clean. Good bar, no restaurant but a good continental breakfast. There are so many decent local restaurants that the lack of evening meal is no problem. Only downside was the extremely compact room but I can forgive that because the beds and pillows are wonderful. It's very quiet at night and I had two of the best nights sleep for ages!

Stayed 4 nights as part of a golf tour. Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was nice, bar most welcoming and staff helpful. Not luxurious but provided everything that was required. Excellent location with a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. Good idea to book a place in the car park.

Very good hotel in the heart of buzzing Le Touquet town.
The architecture and décor were comfortably traditional. The carpeted floors gave a cosy feel to the place. There is a large outside patio area where you could have a drink if the weather encouraged you.
The room we were given was not overly large but quite adequate.
Breakfast was buffet style and at 12 euros was reasonable. I would have liked to see more fresh fruit on offer – the dried fruit was dried out.
Private parking is available at the hotel. At the time of writing it was possible to park in the street free of charge during the week – charges apply at week ends (2 euros an hour).
At 105 euros for 1 night, this demonstrates the popularity of Le Touquet.

Verdict: Very good hotel in a central location, with all the expected amenities.

This is our fourth trip to the Bristol we love it !
It's in a brilliant position for the town and the market is at the top of the street which is on a couple of times a week.
You can park on the street if you like but the hotel also has parking however they charge something like 8 Euros a day !
You now only have to pay to park at weekends and there are parking meters outside on the street that you have to pay and display with - we stayed Sunday to Thursday so we thought it brilliant that we only paid for a couple of hours Sunday and the rest of the week was free to park outside. Just don't park near the top of the road where the market's on as your car will be towed if its a Market day !
The breakfast was a little smaller than I thought previously not so much choice in cheese and hams but there is sufficient and you can have bacon and eggs if you like for an extra 4 euros.
We love the bar there its a real little old fashioned gem!! That is until you get the 'rowdy male English Golfers' in I must say they spoiled things a little for us - they would not act like obnoxious ignorant teenagers back in the UK so why do they have to do it there??
The hotel is a short walk away from the town and the beach - wonderfully situated.
The rooms are clean and tidy we had an economy room which had an amazing shower the bathroom generally was really nice sized and wonderful. They could do with some tea and coffee makers in the rooms that would help a lot but hey this is France.!
All in all a great hotel in a fantastic position with the added benefit of free parking what more could you ask for - try it !

Stayed at the Bristol end of May14 for 3 nights.

Rooms are a reasonable size and breakfast is Good.

Hotel is within 5 minute walk from the seafront and in the town centre. Lots of place to eat and drink, short walking distance away from the hotel. Lovely place for a short stay. Has it's own car park at the rear at a cost.

40 minutes from the Euro tunnel at Calais.

Good golf course near by, Le Mer, 5 minutes drive from the Hotel.

Hotel is ideal for Solo, Couples and Families.

Room Tip: Stayed on the 3rd floor, which was Quiet.

Visited this hotel for 3 nights 26-28 May 2014. We were a group of 4 couples, 5 to play golf, the other 3 ladies, including me, there to shop and lunch during the day.

This was my first time in Le Touquet and therefore, a first visit to this hotel. I was extremely pleased with the hotel. Yes, the outside plasterwork is peeling slightly in places, but this is to be expected so close to the sea. As commented on by others, the bedrooms have been updated and refurbished and now look really good. Bedding of good quality and mattress and pillows very comfortable. Whilst not the largest room I have been in, it was certainly big enough for 2 adults. The bathroom was, like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean and really very spacious. My only comment would be that a magnifying mirror on the wall would be good for applying makeup for those like me that need glasses.

Staff extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay and the bar prices very reasonable. Breakfast buffet was standard European fare with the added bonus of being able to boil your own egg(s) to taste. Any empty bread, meat/cheese dishes were replenished quickly and tea and coffee plentiful.

I really liked Le Touquet and the restaurants we found (separate, individual reviews for these) and my golfing husband and I hope to come back soon to explore as a couple and we will certainly stay at Hotel Bristol.
