“Very good location, average level”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

I have been two times already in this hotel especially due to good location and reasonable prices out of season. The room was quite cold and only heating system in the room is made by air conditioning system that is very noisy in the night. I could not slepp so I asked very friendly staff for electrical heater and I received without any problems. What was very positive, next time I stay in this hotel, the electric heater was waiting me already in the room. Rooms needs some renovation.
The breakfast is good however the offer is quite poor.
Generally, average hotel at average price then meets my expectations.

Just returned from a two night stay at Red Fox. Reception was efficient and friendly enough - we didn't see any other staff. The basic double room we had was surprisingly small and the bathroom tiny. In fact, the shower was so small it wasn't possible for me to bend over (I'm average sized) and my partner (who is tall and broad shouldered) could barely turn around. That said, we were looking for a cheap weekend booked at short notice and this was a good price deal so we have no real complaints. We spent most of our time out of the hotel anyway and didn't take breakfast as part of the fun for us is going out and trying the local gauffres and coffee. And the real beauty of this hotel is its position. Slap bang in the centre of the town at a quiet end of the main street - could not be better. We prebooked a garage space and just left the car there for the whole trip. They allowed us to leave it for several hours after checkout too. Would stay here again - maybe in a larger room!

Stayed at Red Fox, visiting the local Rotary Club. A groupe of thirteen members from the Rotary Club of Rugby Dunsmore visited Le Touquet. The staff at the reception were pleasent and helpful. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was well presented, continental style. Parking available two strees away and there is a charge of 13 euros per day. It is better to pre-book the parking as the availability is limited. Although there is no restaurant at the hotel there are plenty of eating places nearby.

I stayed here on a golf break with friends and was shocked at how good the hotel was for a 2 star. Should be 3 easily having just been redecorated. Parking is a challenge but you are slap bang in the middle of town. Ideal for golf trips with large groups or even couples. Will go back

Our penultimate night in France and we found this pleasant hotel in the classy resort of Le Touquet.
The greeting was first class from an extremely friendly receptionist which was a good start.
We only had the basic room as this was the only one left ( and it was more expensive booking direct at the hotel rather than through Bookings.com)
It was however more than adequate, and the hotel had the attraction of a separately sited secure car park, (at a whopping 13€ daily cost)

The hotel itself is in a great location close to everything, but here lies the first problem- it's noisey especially early in the morning when the street services get going.
The second downer was the breakfast, if you want any sort of choice get there early otherwise what everyone else didn't fancy is all that is left, and nothing seems to be replenished which even included the plates.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the rear of the building

We had intended to travel to Brittany, but at the last moment had to seek a holiday within easy reach of Calais. We had no experience of Le Touquet and booked the Red Fox purely because of availabilty. The location was superb and in easy reach of many very good restaurants.I am partially disabled and found the bedroom and bathroom rather small , but adequate whilst the bed was very comfortable .We slept well, despite a lot of noisy revelry outside on our first night. The breakfast buffets were well stocked, but the dining room was a little austere and very crowded most mornings, we wished we had tea making facilities in our room! On the whole, decent value and a very good c centre for a short break in Le Touquet

Room Tip: We did not see the new annexe, but understand they are larger and better furnished than in the origi...
