“Like visiting an old friend!”
Reviewed 8 March 2013

This is the third time we've been to Manoir Hotel and it felt so familiar and comfortable. We were a party of six couples playing golf. It's all so convenient - two courses right across the road and other courses dotted around nearby. The staff were very pleasant and courteous and the hotel is like an elegant old friend - slightly old fashioned in parts but very charming. We were staying in a refurbished twin room which was warm and clean and the beds very comfortable and the bathroom spotless although there wasn't much room when sitting on the loo - our knees touched the heated towel rail!
The evening meal was included in our package and it was really excellent food and beautifully presented - we all enjoyed it so much that we ate there again the second night which also happened to be my husband's BIG birthday. We had champagne and canapes in a private room off the bar area which was a perfect start to the evening. We look forward to going back next year.

Recently returned from a 3 day/ 2 night golf break in Le Touquet - group off 11 golfers, with varying levels of skill.

We stayed at the Manoir Hotel for 2 nights - sharing two to a room. The hotel is large, with ample dining room and bar area.

Check-in was easy and painless - room, was small (but large enough) for two golfers, with a bath/shower and separate toilet. Furnishing and quality of room, was good and more than adequate. The bath/toilet was functional and clean. Housekeeping was good and efficient.

We took the evening meal on the first night - it was a slick operation and the quality of food was very good. The choices on the set menu (3 options for starter, main and dessert) where sufficient, even the few 'fussy' golfers were happy with the food. Service was very good and the whole service was completed very well - it was busy but there was no large wait for food or clearing of table.

Breakfast - continental served from 07:30, certainly lots of choice. There is a hot option (eggs/bacon, Omelette etc.) at a charge. Again quality and quantity was more than adequate.

The bar is well stocked and the bar staff are excellent, speaking very good English. The chairs and area is almost a typical English ‘pub’ and we spent a couple of very entertaining evening with other groups regaling our exploits on the courses.

Le Touquet Golf Club is across the road – literally 150 yards to the first tee (Le Foret).

All in all – everyone of the society enjoyed our stay in le Touquet (my second time) and were very happy with the hotel – it delivered what a group of golfers required.

I would recommend this hotel to other societies.

Stayed here for a golf weekend, it was faultless. The hotel is easy to get to from the tunnel, and is comfortable enough. The rooms are standard hotel types, clean and comfortable.
The hotel is used to golfers and allows groups of men to unwind and enjoy the golf weekends.
The food is excellent, and the bar is ideal, a few stellas were enjoyed. The house red wine is good value and very drinkable. The staff are all friendly and speak English.
The two golf courses are about 100 meters away, I played Le Floret, which is a easy round designed to flatter all but the weakest golfer.
A cheap taxi ride gets you into town for a few drinks and a trip to the casino.
Highly recommended.

Whilst cycling on our last day I punctured 10 miles out & was in the #### without a paddle. I had no means of rescue other than my wife at the Hotel. Without hesitation the receptionist offered her a lift when no taxi was available. HOW VERY KIND.
Four of us booked a 2 night golfing break & stayed here in October. The Hotel is attractive & about 2.5 miles outside of the centre Le Touquet, opposite some golf courses.
We arrived early & luckily the cleaner had just finished her job. The room on the first floor was nice, very clean & adequately furnished. The bathroom had a shower in the bath & separate wc. Nice flat screen tv & twin beds pushed together. We were quite happy as we hadn't paid big money for this trip.
We enjoyed our meal here on the first evening with complimentary wine very much. The bar area is also welcoming with good service. Breakfast was also good.
This is not a flash modern boutique type hotel but a very pleasant nevertheless. We all enjoyed our stay here.

A group of 8 of us visited Le Manoir on a golf break. We had 3 rounds on 3 different courses and the golf was exceptional. The courses were quiet and in good condition. The hotel is quite basic but the food very good. The beer is expensive but this is common now in France. The hotel is across the road from 2 of the courses.

We will definitely go back for a group golf break.

Travelled to Hotel Manoir via Channel Tunnel, easy. Party size, ten for three day's golf.
Hotel Manoir excellant. Evening meal on first night was included in package, so good we decided to stay in the next evening and eat at hotel, again we were not disappointed, service good. Room was on ground floor, good size, separate toilet and bathroom with bath and shower, clean and in good decorative order.

Room Tip: My room number was 34.Two large windows both opening, view to tree's and very quiet.

We booked this hotel for two couples despite some negative comments on trip advisor. Who are these people who always moan about the smallest thing? From the moment we arrived, we met with only friendly, curteous staff. Our rooms were small but well appointed- satelite tv, mini bar etc, and had the benefit of large en-suite bathrooms. Everthing was spotlessly clean. Our deal included a four course dinner with wine in the hotel restaurant and yes it was quiet compared to McDonalds but who wants McDonalds!! The atmostphere was warm and inclusive and the food just superb! The hotel is very quiet at night with no passing traffic so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Try it-you wont be disappointed !!
