The villa is beautiful, newly renovated with a mix of brand new appliances and beautiful furniture, but at the same time the house mainteins an authentic style. The frontyard is great for dinners outside. The grass was not trimmed, but overall it was a very nice space. The bathrooms are brand new. We found the house very clean. The house it is literally 20 steps away from the beach, which is makes is a great location if you have little kids like us. You can just walk to the beach with them with no worries about putting them in the car and drive.
We had some little issues with electricity and sewer smell, but these accidents happens in Sicily. They were not related to the house. We had a little issue with the hot water, but I am sure Carmen has already fixed it. Carmen ( the house's manager) has always been available. She helped us recover few pieces of luggages from the airport and she suggested great places to visit and to dine.
Taormina is just few minutes away by car and it is just a gorgeous little Italian village, a must-see.

A secret gem. Situated next door to Greta Garbos hideout, you can see why she came here. This is a small apartment for two within a stunning authentic villa on the lush Hillside of Letojanni. The terrace opens out to the most beautiful view of Taormina and the bay between.

We spent a heavenly week here, catering for ourselves and cooking Sicilian delights with the excuisite local produce. The beauty of this place is that you you experience a slice of Sicillian life as it is, rather than the tourist pacage perfection. That said, you are a short walk from the centre of Letojani where you can pick up a 10 minute bus to picturesque Taormina. This bus ride and the architecture of the roads that traverse the extreme landscape was a daily excitement in itself, which you would never get to see if you just stayed in Taormina.

The Landlady Carmen is a wonderful lady and was very helpful indeed, with many suggestions on what to see and how to get there, as well as local cuisine and Sicilian treats we would not have otherwise experienced.
cannot reccomend it enough, will be sending my brother there too. Thank you Carmen!!

An idyllic retreat, go if you love not being part of the homogenous tourist scene, are quite happy to manage with what there is and enjoy a more local Sicilian way of life with wonderful fresh local produce and in a sweet villa with a wonderful ful view and an occasional soundscape provided by roosters, cats and dogs sometimes all at once! Heart-stoppingly beautiful scenery all viewed from a 1 Euro bus ride into Taormina and once there be prepared to gasp every time you turn a corner or climb a stepped street.

Carmen was a delightful host and welcomed us warmly giving us loads of information and fruit from her garden. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy it for longer. Oh, and the sea is one minute's walk from your front door...

Situated in a very nice and quiet corner of a tiny sea village Letojanni Pirats' Turret offers comfortable rest for a family or a company of 4-5 persons. Small three-store house offers all the necessary for pleasant stay.
We've spent beautiful 6 days of a runaway from big city routine. I'd recommend this place for all categories of travellers seaking for calm ashore vacations.
