Casa Famiani is a lovely family run B&B by the beach in Letojanni. Firstly Ignazio was very welcomming. Our room was clean, with a balcony and a nice bathroom. It is beside the beach and breakfast is had in their restaurant on the beach. It's only a one minute walk and is a beautiful setting having breakfast on the beach.

Letojanni is a short bus or taxi trip to Taormina (bus is much cheaper). It's nice if you are looking for a quite seaside village next to busier Taormina. There is also a train station here which is useful to access other parts of the Island.

I think that this place has such a high rating on trip advisor as it does not try and be anything that is isn't. It is no on the Main Street to the beach but is just off a corner which means you have ocean views from your balcony but is quiet from the small amount of traffic on the front. The owner is really friendly. They should work a bit harder on the breakfast but is good for Italian standards so the coffee is great and the food is limited. I would recommend. Have spent 10days here and it is a great place. Just watch out for the jellyfish.

We wanted to spend time in Taormina but we also wanted to explore around the Island too. Casa Famiani was ideally suited to our needs, providing easy access to Taormina and hassle-free street parking for the hired car. Letojanni has plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, within easy walking distance, with some actually on the beach. Also there are two supermarkets and a post office close by. We found the hotel clean and bright, and very quiet, which we appreciated. We were on the first floor and our room had a balcony with side view to the sea, which was a bonus.Ignatius was charming and very helpful with ideas for places to visit. We had a very relaxing week here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to others.Everything was as described in the hotel write-up.

We stayed in Casa Famiani in the last 4 days of September. The sea is as close to the hotel as you would only dream. In the morning you can walk barefoot on the beach and swim before breakfast. The owner Ignazio is really nice. He gives useful information about where to go and what to see. The breakfast and especially the coffee he makes are very good. The rooms, though not so large, are very clean, cosy and have everything you may need for your comfort including delightful lunch with local products and fruits on the spacious balcony with a side sea view. There are several food markets nearby. We were worried about parking, but there was never any problem to park the car just nearby, within the sight from the balcony.

Room Tip: there is no lift
