“Superb food and lovely ambience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here, the food was delicious, the staff were attentive and the outside dining area was very ambient and relaxing. A definite, I would say, if you're in the area!

“Brutto Ma Buonissimo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 September 2013 via mobile

Deceptively plain from the street; we almost drove past three times before we noticed it!! Thankfully we didn't drive past - the food was great if a little slow to start.

We arrived right on 8pm (because we have two little ones) which is opening time and it seems the kitchen wasn't ready to start taking orders so we waited about 15 minutes before anyone took our order (including drinks) though we did get the standard olives and bread to tide us all over.

Antipasto was great, orichiette for the kids was fantastic (local specialty), pork fillet with pistachio crust a bit rare for me but that must be how they like it here - despite that very tasty!

Great value as well.

“Lovely and relaxed lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2013 via mobile

We had a delightful lunch here - my wife and I sharing a pasta dish and a steak dish. The portions were so generous we really thought they had misunderstood our desire to share, until we saw the generously priced bill. The food was utterly superb, and the service charming. We will return for a big dinner before we leave Puglia!

“Loved it...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2013

Fantastic place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but a lovely garden with grill at the back. Wonderful antipasti, delicious homemade pasta and a fantastic steak. We couldn't eat it all, and I thought great value too...

We were staying at the Borgo Egnazia whose concierge sent us down there. The food is WAY better and WAY cheaper than at the aforementioned hotel.

Go and you won't be disappointed...

“Grazie! Ciao Santiago!! Kisses”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2013

Fantastic food run by a couple and they have a gorgeous little baby boy named Santiago. We ate and ate and ate and ate, and they even made little pasta with ricotta cheese for our little baby girl Aemilia. It's a gem. I will return when I go back to Puglia again. - Josephine, Michael & Aemilia
