We stayed in Fuchsia Cottage for a long weekend and loved it. It's very cosy and charming, with a kitchen, dining area and living area downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Lovingly decorated with little welcoming touches. Gill and Martin are such perfect hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble, the food was amazing and we had the opportunity to make some gorgeous glass jewellery as well as pottery. Love Gill's art, could have bought everything that was there but sadly, don't have room at home and only came over with hand luggage. We will definitely be back. Thanks Gill xx

We have stayed in Fuschia cottage about 3 times now. We have done this with close friends as a 4 and had a great time - chilling and relaxing and possibly enjoying a few drinks. We also stayed as a couple for a chance to get sketchbooks and reading up to date. It has proven a wonderful place to relax and to take life less seriously. Gill and Martin have always been accommodating. They are very welcoming and have been fine hosts; as have the various animals over the years. When we needed 3 bedrooms we headed for the larger cottage across the drive - 3 or 4 different stays - but our most recent adventure was just the 3 of us so Fuschia was ideal. The cottage is comfortable and provides everything we need in a place to stay or use as a base to venture out. We have had wonderful days wandering the country lanes, enjoying the pool and engaging in 'art'. We have also had amazing times setting off for the North coast of Brittany and even the South - it is a great location to explore from. Our daughter is now 4 and is very at home when she has stayed here. The cottage has appealed to all of those who have travelled with us - friends, my parents and Jo's mum. The reason we keep going back is that we have never been disappointed. We will visit again.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Fuschia Cottage and every time has been an absolute pleasure. The cottage is beautifully renovated with original features. With two bedrooms it is perfect for a family. The cottage contains everything you could require for your self catering holiday and if you fancy a night off there are restaurants and pizzeria in the local town. Breakfast sitting outside is a lovely start to any day and with no traffic to speak of it is so peaceful. The swimming pool is kept crystal clear and is fantastic for a lazy day or just to relax after a days sight-seeing. There is also a well appointed games barn which serves well should you get the odd rainy day.
The owners Gill and Martin are fantastic hosts and always available to answer any questions or give advice on places to visit. Gill also runs pottery and craft classes for those that are interested - or you could just browse her work and see if anything takes your fancy,
When we first went to Fuschia Cottage we took both our daughters with us and over time as they have grown it has reduced to just the two of us but our holiday was still perfect.
From the minute we arrive we are relaxed and we return to England rejuvinated and ready to face the world again.
We will be going back again (we have told Gill she wont get rid of us that easily) and would recommend to anybody looking for accomodation in Brittany. If you are looking for more than 4 people there is a second gite which can accomodate a larger group.
