My husband and I had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. From the minute we arrived everything was perfect! The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Best of all was the superb food compliments to the chef!! A lovely relaxing friendly & warm hotel. Cannot wait to go back.

Went for Sunday Carvery. Food was of an average standard- Carvery nothing special. Selection wasn't great. It was the poor standard of service that really was unacceptable. My other half ordered drinks as we went in. These came when we were in dessert despite repeatedly asking staff. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Our starter plates were still on the table as we were leaving. I was disgusted as a meal out is usually a nice treat for the family. I won't be dining here again.

This hotel is only 16 miles away.. Havnt been here in over 30 yrs.. Could not believe what I was seeing.. Would give any hotel in Belfast a run for its money.. It's been totally transformed.. We where there for confirmation dinner.. A large table of 12 eating of the two course special menu..
Most had steak for main & not a scrap sent back.. Arrived hot, promptly & fresh.. Just really tasty..
The staff where fantastic.. Mary I think is the manager who kindly took a group pic of us all..
My only only slight was it was really hot.. Not stuffy just really warm.. I love the heat but this was up there with the hottest ever..
It still amazes me that parents allow their children to do laps of the restaurant whilst there is other diners eating & the racket they made.. Not the fault of the hotel @ all..

Group of 6 went for dinner and drinks last night. Most of us ordered the White River chicken escalope. Chicken with a mushroom sauce and cheese and bacon mash. The food came out very quickly and everyone had a great meal. The fatties had desert and seemed to enjoy it, but I'm an athlete so passed.

We moved out to the foyer after to listen to the music which was fantastic. The bar staff were all great craic and had nice beards.

Great night out, would highly recommend it and will be making it a regular event.

This was our first stay and we were very impressed with both the quality of the service and the food. The staff that we met were, without exception, very pleasant and helpful. Service was prompt.

For dinner the pulled pork in a bap was memorable. The full Irish breakfast was cooked to order. Food was hot on arrival.

The bedroom was spacious, warm and the bed very comfortable.

Apart from noise from the bar below our bedroom until closing time this was overall a very positive experience.
