Beautifully preserved medieval walled town. Well worth exploring. Helpful staff in churches and museum. Genuinely want to have visitors.

Lovely, well restored old town - like many others in Spain. Great for an evening walk (when most of the tourists have gone). If visiting Caceres well worth a stroll.

Walking around the ancient town it was like the rest of the world did not exist. With a visitors map we were able to explore on our own.

We took the bus from Caceres Camping and visited the old historic town. Very pretty, quaint and unspoilt. Used for film sets.
