“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

We did the package of three tastings and tapas, the tour itself was good and informative, we felt the tour guide spent just the right amount of time, she gave plenty of opportunity to ask questions if you wanted anymore information. The tastings were fino, medium and cream and the tapas were a good quality selection of cheese and ham. There is a on site shop and all sherry,s offered were for sale at a reasonable price.

“Educational tour and great samples”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

The tour was much more than expected - very educational. Never knew there were so many kinds of sherry. An added bonus - it was very hot outside and the caves were cool.

Very interesting tour, well worth the visit! We were impressed by the knowledge of our tour guide who genuinely enjoyed explaining to us the various types of xeres and how it was made. A very positive experience!

“Good way of spending an hour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

I recommend doing the wine tasting after a visit to the riding school which is just round the corner. The actual tour is quite short and informative although delivered in a bit too much haste by the host. At the end of the tour comes the tasting of a number of sherries of varying quality depending on your tour. We did the basic 3 sherry tasting option (Fino, medium, Cream) a plate of Olives and crisps is also provided to munch between tastings. A shop is on site to purchase what you tasted or buy other Sandeman products.

“Great tasting wines”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014 via mobile

The visit itself was a bit too short. Maybe 15 mins or so. I thought that maybe more things could have been expalined and showed. Our guide was very nice and helpful, but English could have been a bit better (the accent).
Tasting part was good. In addition to 3 wines (fino, medium and cream) we were given some chips and olives. And I absolutely loved wines.
