I wasn´t sure about going on this tour, but thankfully I did. I had a really good time. The guide was really good, and the sherry was great

The bodegas are atmospheric, with a real feel of history. The guide who shepherded us around had obviously done it a million times before, and it showed, perhaps he needs a holiday. The finale of the visit, tasting the product, was less than impressive: we didn't come to Jerez to drink half a glass of Tio Pepe and another of Croft Original Cream Sherry - both of which we can find at our local supermarket.

For the price they charge and what you see and get is a rip off.
We are a retired couple that live in Spain about 2 hour drive from Jerez we spent 6 days there and enjoyed the cultural experience. It was lovely but Tio Pepe, NO. Read the negative reports on this and I totally agree so I have no need to reiterate.

We expected a Disney-like tour, but were pleasantly surprised by the amount we learned, the professionalism and generosity of our guide and the elegance of the facilities. It definitely worth going.

A very good way to spend a few leisurely hours. Lots of information and the guide was a comedian who was very funny. There is a train ride in the grounds too and some port tasting of course. You see all the processes of port making, it's history and the wine cellars full of barrels. There is a light snack and a couple of glasses of port included in the entrance fee. Highly recommended.
