We took the 5 pm tour and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Had two sherries and the tapas.

Of course its about promoting the brand,, but the historical film was entertaining and the rows of barrels are very impressive.
Our guide spoke in spanish and English and was very knowledgeable and amusing.
We tasted the tio pepe fino and the croft which were as expected...dry and sweet respectively. We then tried some other stuff that someone else had left!

Its a good experience, but I would imagine any of the jerez bodegas would be fun.

If you want to try some sherry though just look for a bar packed with locals and drink what they are drinking.

I wasn´t sure about going on this tour, but thankfully I did. I had a really good time. The guide was really good, and the sherry was great

The bodegas are atmospheric, with a real feel of history. The guide who shepherded us around had obviously done it a million times before, and it showed, perhaps he needs a holiday. The finale of the visit, tasting the product, was less than impressive: we didn't come to Jerez to drink half a glass of Tio Pepe and another of Croft Original Cream Sherry - both of which we can find at our local supermarket.

For the price they charge and what you see and get is a rip off.
We are a retired couple that live in Spain about 2 hour drive from Jerez we spent 6 days there and enjoyed the cultural experience. It was lovely but Tio Pepe, NO. Read the negative reports on this and I totally agree so I have no need to reiterate.

We expected a Disney-like tour, but were pleasantly surprised by the amount we learned, the professionalism and generosity of our guide and the elegance of the facilities. It definitely worth going.
