Owner description: Beautiful sherry winery, with plenty tasting options, with or without food. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines. Lustau’s philosophy has remained unchanged since its inception in 1896: to provide consumers with the widest and most select range of Sherry specialties. In 2016, Bodegas Lustau was named Best Sherry Producer by the International Wine and Spirit Competition and ranked number 7 in the WAWWJ “Top 100 wineries in the world” annual ranking.

We did the tour in english language. The woman guiding the tour started without introducing herself or the company. We learned almost nothing about the process of making sherry or get any backround information. Her english was not easy to understand and she either does not could or want to answer our questions. The tour lasted about 30 min.

After that we tasted 6 different Lustau Sherries. We get a good description of the differences between the kinds of sherries.

In conclusion we did not learn anything about the way of history of Bodega Lustau or how they producing Sherry but we know about the different kinds and that they are really tasty and awarded.

Very professional and informative experience, unlike any other wine region in the world! Lustau is top quality Sherry!

The architecture of the Bodegas Lustau, large tall buildings with arches inside, is among the most impressive I've seen in Jerez. The tour is worth seeing for that alone. Of course the tasting, specially the full tasting for €20, gives you a whole range of other reasons. While all sherries tasted were good, some were exceptional. My clear favourite was, entirely unexpected, the Solera Gran Reserva Brandy.

Another unique aspect on show here is how sherry casks are kept and seasoned for the Whisky industry in Scotland and Ireland, Jameson in Ireland in this case. You'll learn the real story and not the romantic (and incorrect) version told by many others. Great for Whisky lovers.

Went there last week and really liked the winery. The guide (I think her name was Isabel), was really really informative (I've visited quite a few wineries, so I know what I'm saying) so I did learn some new things. In the end we went for a tasting part and I was quite amazed with the amount of wines they gave us to try. Two other guides were helping with the tasting, one was named Natalie, another one I can't remember, really nice people, made us feel very welcome. Wines were great, accompanied by chips and nuts. Loved amontillado wine from Lustau. Amazing taste.
Wonderful visit all in all.

We travelled from Seville by train. From the rail station is a 10 minute walk to the winery. We were greeted by Isabel, our guide. We had booked our tour some weeks earler by email. There was 5 of us and we decided to take the most expensive experience, which is with lots of food and 12 tastings, As wonderful as the sherry is, you must sip only and pour away the remainder unless like 2 of our group you'll get very pissed. The tour was very interesting, informative and beautifully explained. You'll have a wonderful time. Cheers.
