Baroque and gothic styled cathedral. Best collection of silverware and collectibles behind the alter. Truly remarkable with a gentleman there that is enthusiastic about giving you the information about the objects. Well worth a visit. It wasn't full of tourists and their was wonderful music playing.

This was a beautiful building and I was sad that those ladies that used to go and help at the church and dust the chairs, tables, and everything just because they wanted to keep it right, were no longer in evidence at the Cathedral. There is grass growing in the slabs outside and it is sad to see that people cannot pay attention to this great monument - if they are not on salary. The guard/guide inside was a lone voice trying to do his best to tell us the history of the art treasures and beautiful objects in the Sanctuary. It must be visited to appreciate the inside, not the outside of this Cathedral.

Jerez is best if visited in a package with Cadiz, together they make a great one day trip. Jerez is small town, best known for its winery/distillery Tio Pepe, the experts in making sherry wine. Don't miss the opportunity to visit it, find out more on the process, taste samples and buy wine, sherry brandy and sweet sherry vinegar. The rest of the city is interesting for the roman wall remains, pretentious cathedral and central city square with City hall.

We drove from estepona and the motorway was a pleasure to drive on. The town is charming with a lovely atmosphere, plenty to see , next time we will take in the sherry houses and then probanbly carry on to seville

Well worth a visit as,is the old part of the city. There were small boot fair type stalls along some side streets which were worth a visit too.
