“MUST Stay !!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

This is the perfect location again for a very lovely hotel. Value for money, with multi lingual staff. Underground parking. Close to many cafes, the daily market, town plazas, in other words in the thick of it..... Great Spot !! Dia supermarket just outside for incidentals. Refrigerator in room is great. The only down point would be the lift to the carpark which is controlled by reception who weren't always there to access up and down... Don't miss the markets !! or the beautiful café areas out the side and back of the main plaza arenal. Don't bother with any of the 3 Mexican restaurants, none of them know how to make a Margarita or real Mexican food... Lol !!

Room Tip: Corner room with double balconies, just lovely

Dear Mrs. Bunny,

We are glad that your staying has been nice with us.

It has been a pleasure. And sorry for the inconvenience we have caused you about the lift.

Sincerely, thanks

We stayed here in February and enjoyed our "Romantic Escape" very much. We found the staff very courteous and helpful. The receptionists gave us very good information on what we wanted to see and where to go while we were there. The "La Carbona" restaurant (dinner included in our booking) was excellent. We enjoyed the bottle of cava and chocolates courtesy of the hotel too. We would love to stay here again. The hotel is very central (two minutes to the main square Plaza Del Arenal) and it has an undergound garage.

We booked in advance for 2 nights with breakfast and secure parking. The room we were shown did not meet our requirements and although the hotel was full an alternative was allocated to us. This was perfect - spacious with 2 doors onto a balcony which caught the evening sun. Hotel conveniently placed to all we wanted to explore. Staff helpful. Jerez a wonderful experience which we hope to repeat and would definitely return to the Hotel Dona Blanca.

Room Tip: Our room number was 204

Stayed here a couple of nights in September. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, handy for the Bodegas, churches, market, bars and restaurants and only 15 minutes walk from the station/bus. It is in a traditional building on a quiet street.

We had a comfortable, spacious room. The bathroom was a little dated, but everything was clean and worked fine.

Tremendous value and I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy Jerez. We went room only - there are a couple of nice places serving Churros nearby (my favourite Spanish breakfast).

Chosen because it had private car park and was close to the city centre. Excellent help from reception made our arrival and stay all the better. We had a large well furnished room that was spotlessly clean. It was peaceful yet only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Recommended.

Room Tip: We had 104 that was very good.

We had a booking for a double room. The double room was a huge disappointment, it was dark with one small window looking directly into another room and it did not have a safe. We asked to change rooms as we really wanted a safe. At no additional charge we were given a triple room which was light, spacious and with a safe. The air conditioning was also good. If you stay here, book a triple room!! The double room is disappointing.

Room Tip: Ask for triple room with a safe

We stayed at Hotel Doña Blanca for three nights and it is very centrally located to the main square with all it's bars and restaurants. Cathedral, Alcazar, and Bodega's are also close by.
Our room was a nice big size, great as there was 2 adults and 1 child sharing. Fridge, telly, air con, and especially good wifi in our room. Beds were comfortable. Hot running water when ever we needed it. Clean towels and toiletries every day, Very quiet at night, no noise from outside and couldn't hear any banging doors or people chatting from our room. (Room 111).
We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there are so many cafe's near by. We used the doña blanca cafe next door to the hotel, in fact you can walk to the cafe though the hotel. We had Spanish Tostada and coffee for three, it was 4.10€. Great value. Another morning we just had churro's, bought for 1€ in a big bag, and then sat in a cafe for chocolate and coffee.
Car park is under the hotel and only 9€ a day. There is lots of blue zones for parking but they are only free in the evenings until 8am the next day,and only an hour during the day). So the hotel parking was great for us.
The only complaint was when we went into our room the bathroom was dirty with lots of hair from the previous people and the toilet seat was broken! Told the receptionist and the problem was dealt with straight away, they were so apologetic about the whole thing, So all good in the end, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful.
There was a smell up and down the corridor too, but once in our room no smell luckily.
Oh one last thing we visited the Alcazar, apart from the fact its a beautiful historic place, it was also free. (But Only on a Monday morning before 12) bonus. The camera obscure was an extra cost but only 2.60€ pp. we didn't go up there as we felt there was enough views etc..from the other two towers.
Well would defiantly return to hotel doña blanca.
