“Nice hotel in Jerez”
Reviewed 3 September 2012

We booked Case Grande solely on reviews from Trip Advisor and we were happy with our stay. The hotel is located in a old andalusian house that's been renovated and really has more of a B&B feels to it.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and assisted us in parking our car nearby. They also arranged tickets for us to go see a flamenco show which was greatly appreciated.

Our room was nice and big with a lot of nice little touches. The main issue we had was that due to the heat wave, the AC really wasn't coping well and it was very warm in our room.

The rooftop terrace was a nice touch and the breakfast buffet looked nice in the courtyard but we didn't eat inside the hotel.

We chose this hotel for a 2 night stay mid-August to explore Jerez with friends, purely on the reviews from Tripadviser, following a brilliant drive through the Serrania de Ronda from Benehavis. We were certainly not disappointed. The owner, Monika, could not be more helpful; she pre booked our visit to the Royal Andalucian riding school, recommended and booked the excellent Tradicion Bodega & an evening in the castle watching traditional flamenco. Best of all were her recommendations for places to eat, all were spot on, not expensive, and within an easy walk from the Hotel. It is a good location for getting around the City on foot. We paid €10 p.n. to park the car in the Hotel garage. We used satnav to find our way through Jerez, but noted that all the hotels were well sign posted when in the centre of town.
We had a superior room, which was large, cool & quiet, with an excellent bathroom. Being built originally as a mansion around an open courtyard the hotel is a cool peaceful escape from the outside world. The breakfast at extra cost is well worth it, €10 I think, nothing was too much trouble...and HP sauce provided for my eggs & bacon!!

Room Tip: I'd go for a superior room, overlooking the courtyard area

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was wonderful, the hotel is very attractive and clean. We had a suite with a balcony, with air-con it was lovely to return to after walking around in the heat of the day.Monika the owner was an excellent host, she was so helpful and friendly and really could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. All of the staff followed her lead and were so helpful too.Breakfast time was a really nice start to the day, sitting in the patio area where it was cool.Monika was also excellent at advising places of interest and booking tickets for us.We would really recommend this hotel and will return ourselves.

This was my third trip to Jerez, and my third hotel - and of the three I would undoubtedly stay at the Casa Grande should I return to Jerez. The multi-lingual Manager is the marvelous Monika who offers a warm welcome, and seemingly knows everyone in town! She will give you all the insider's tips on where to go and what to visit. The hotel is situated a stone's throw from the town centre, and is great value for a small, intimate hotel with bags of personality. I stayed on the 2nd floor which opens onto a beautiful roof-terrace overlooking a gorgeous palm-lined square. My single had a very comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. I interacted with 4 members of staff during my stay, and all were very warm and friendly.

Room Tip: My room was not too big but it was located in the roof terrace, which for me, was the big thing!! Lo...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Casa Grande and would recommend both the hotel and a trip to Jerez. The restaurant recommendations were great and we loved the Flamenco night. Hotel felt very safe and peaceful despite being in the centre of town

We had a very good stay at La Casa grande. The multi-lingual owner is very helpful and always ready to offer recommendations.

The location is good in the center of Jerez.

The room (superior) was nice, simple and clean.

The breakfast was good, in the inside courtyard.

At 90 euros per night, this was good value.

A nice stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the casa Grande. The staff were extremely helpful suggesting and booking a bodega tour. The interior is based around an attractive courtyard were breakfast was served. The air con in our attractively decorated room was very efficient on an extremely hot day.
