We spent only one night at this hotel, and it was definitely the least expensive place we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Spain. The room we had was not great as it was located on the ground floor and had a window which opened on to the inner courtyard. Given the heat in August we would not have opened the windows anyway. That said, there was nothing wrong with the room at all, just nothing special about it. Very clean and comfortable.

We picked the hotel based largely on its location, which was very convenient for everything in Jerez. Breakfast was sufficient and included freshly cooked eggs if you wished.

I would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, air conditioning, and hospitality.

Room Tip: Room on first floor interior courtyard was quiet, but dull.

Booked the Hotel because of his great ratings and was not disappointed. The rooms are spacious and super clean. Great air condition. (You really need it in August). A wonderful calm open courtyard and a great roof terrace. The owner/manager made me feel as if I was an old friend and gave me the most useful overview over Jerez, that made my short stay a great experience. Totally recommend this place. Probably the best place you can get in Jerez.

Strange little hotel, outside the historic centre on a slightly drab square. Old fashioned rooms. Rather severe but helpful owner manager. Noisy at night (streets). Jerez really has gone downhill in the last few years - lots of vagrants & crime.

Monika, the hostess, is a charismatic and wonderfully helpful woman. Just outside the main town, it is quiet yet conveniently located. A beautiful small hotel. We didn't have breakfast so no comment. i definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a small room, only one window. I recommend the you go for a larger room, two or three windows...

We stayed at Casa Grande in September 2012, in our pre-TripAdvisor days (not September 2013 as said on the form - I fear we are too out of date!). Now that we are on it, we checked whether the wonderful Monica was still running it, and were delighted to see that she still was. Even now, two years on, we still remember our time there with great fondness. The hotel itself was lovely, with its big cool patio, but above all we remember the warmth of the welcome from Monica and her staff, and all the help which they gave us while we were there. It was the start of a lovely holiday in Andalusia - but even so, I think that, of all the places we stayed in, Casa Grande remained our favourite.

Stayed for 3 nights in late July 2014.
The huge number of positive reviews tells you all you need to know about this place. The room was spotless with excellent fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was also excellent and very good value. You will not get an equivalent breakfast in the town square for this price and not have the pleasure of sitting in the delightful courtyard. A fabulous way to start the day.
However, it is Monica the owner and her staff that make this a real find. They helped us in numerous ways. Apart from being friendly and informative about the area they arranged trips, phoned the bus and train stations for reservations and were highly professional. Thoroughly deserves its top ranking.

Had a super 2 night stay here in July, having booked because of the excellent reviews...it did not disappoint!

An easy enough 800m walk from the train station saw us arrive in some 40 degrees of heat. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who took time to explain Jerez to us before showing us to our room.

Wow! The room was fantastic...large and overlooking the Square. The bathroom was also excellent. The only slight down side was that the safe wasn't functioning despite the owner resetting. Having said that this place is as 'safe as houses' as you have to be let in by hotel staff, all of whom were exceptional in their customer service.

There is a superb roof terrace up top if you want to sunbathe or just relax.

On our second night we really enjoyed a few drinks in the hotel bar along with some visitors from Australia. The Gentleman who looked after all of us provided a first class service and made all feel very welcome.

In conclusion...this hotel is thoroughly recommended!
